Looks: Standing around six feet tall and weighing 225 lbs, Riddick is a powerful looking person. His hair when grown out is a dark brown, but he chooses to keep his head shaved at most times. Due to his lengthy stays in dark prisons his eyes have become somewhat sensitive to light leading to him wearing darkened goggles. His general clothing consists of a black tank top and dark brown pants. He wears a harness over his chest which holds some of his weapons. When in the Land of Iron he donned a gray metallic set of armor. While traveling in desert conditions he wears a cloak that covers his face from the mouth down.

Personality: Riddick has been described frequently as a psychopath. He has never shown any remorse for the murders he commits nor does he show much empathy for those around him. However, Riddick may more accurately be called an animal, as his crimes originate from his ruthless will to survive rather than for the sake of killing. He has even referred to himself as an animal at times. Due to feeling the rage of his kind for as long as he can remember, Riddick's mental state has been regularly pushed to its limits.

Despite this however Riddick's personality most reflects a true survivor. He will do whatever he must to survive and will kill anyone who tries to end him or his freedom. If someone gets close enough to him they become part of the "Kill All Who Threaten" mindset. This is proven by his protection of Gaara and others. Riddick has a low opinion of himself, despite valuing his continued existence. This conflicts with his destiny to avenge the Samurai. When his mother died trying to save him, Riddick could only scream "Not for me!" believing his life was unworthy of her sacrifice. He also expresses deep regret and sadness when his sister Kyra sacrifices herself for him.

Background Info

History: Riddick was born the son of a prominent Samurai within the Land of Iron. From an early age he was taught the art of killing, and he was a fast learner. At the age of eight an invasion of Shinobi aimed to exterminate the Samurai. They had always feared the Samurai for their strength and despised them for their refusal to involved themselves with the rest of the world. It was a long and bloody struggle that saw many casualties on both sides. The battle front came to Riddick's doorsteps where his family fought valiantly. But despite their best efforts, they fell at the hands of the ninja. Riddick's mother and sister both sacrificed themselves to guarantee Riddick's escape.

The war eventually came to an end with neither side gaining much ground. The fighting subsided and the ninja withdrew back into their world leaving the remaining Samurai to pick up the pieces. Riddick's home had been destroyed and his family was gone. He was left alone in a harsh world where he learned to fend for himself; stealing and killing just to stay alive. It wasn't long before Riddick built up a reputation. Those around the Land of Iron began calling him the "Dragon of the South" and a hefty price was put on his head. Bounty hunter after bounty hunter fell against his blade, but they were relentless. Eventually he made a mistake and was captured. He was brought to one of the most secure prisons in the Land of Iron where he lived in darkness for a period of which he can't remember.

The days blurred together and any concept of time became lost. Just as his sanity began to fade a savior appeared. A group calling themselves the Yakuza assaulted the prison and freed the captives. But it seemed they had other plans for Riddick, as he was their main target. A man revealing himself to be the former Shogun, Zenryoku, and his right hand man Genji offered Riddick the chance to join them. Seeing little choice Riddick accepted their offer and became a member of their clan. He had developed a thirst for vengeance against the Shinobi world as well as the Land of Iron that first abandoned him and then imprisoned him. He learned the secrets of the Yakuza in the hopes of using that power to take his revenge. Riddick rose through the ranks of the clan quickly. Before long he had become a Giseiryu, a Sacrificing Dragon. The position was second only to the Hitsuryu, the two heads of the clan. Now confident he had the tools to exact his revenge, he set out for the ninja world with the goal of taking the head of each Kage. His first target was Sunagakure.

He traversed the desert and attacked the village. A man named Gaara, much younger than himself, was the one who he battled. Gaara's sand techniques were too much for the Samurai and he was quickly overpowered. But rather than striking a final blow, Gaara offered him mercy. Gaara saw his old anger in Riddick and sought to help him. He explained his existence as a Jinchuriki and the pain it brought in an attempt to connect with Riddick and draw him from the darkness. Riddick resisted Gaara's efforts, and instead launched another attack. Gaara easily subdued him but chose to spare him, having him brought to Suna's jail instead. During an attack on Suna, Gaara freed Riddick from the prison under the condition he aid in their defense. Riddick agreed and the two went into battle together. It is here Riddick came to trust Gaara, and the reason why he chooses to aid Sunagakure when they're in need.

Other

Weapons: Riddick carries a variety of weapons. A standard katana and wakazashi pair are kept diagonally across his back with the handles behind his right shoulder. He keeps a dagger strapped to the outside of both thighs and an assortment of pouches holding standard weapons such as kunai and shuriken along his waist. He also keeps a pair of curved blades similar to Asuma's holstered on his chest.

Ogame School: As a master of the Ogame School, Riddick is quite skilled in kenjutsu. He specializes in the Kagutsuchi and Oboro Katas giving him above average strength and reaction speed. http://narutobase.net/forums/showthr...=1#post8746638

Giseiryu (Sacrificing Dragons)
- The strongest samurais in the clan only surpassed in power by the Dragon Heads. More like a hidden and last resort weapon, they will consume any drugs necessary to get the most powerful possible, in order for the clan's objective to be assured.
- Consume of forbidden drugs, which can deteriorate one's mind and body.

To me Chronicles of Riddick is one of those movies that you know is bad, but its just entertaining to watch.

But Pitch Black is actually good.

Don't worry I've seen both.

And I'm excited about the new one coming out. It seems like its gonna be a lot more like Pitch Black, which is a very good thing.
