In the first place, the word "Senjutsu" that is related to Senju Hashirama means "a Thousand Jutsus", or something along that line.

Naruto's "Senjutsu" means Sage Technics.

So the question is: where the hell are some of you getting Hashirama's senjutsu clan name/sage techs relation?
Sorry, but i don't see any hint there.
Yes he seems to have some kind of sage art, but has nothing to do with his clan name! *sigh*


Secondly: why ppl keep complaning about the chap's size.
It has been this way for a very, very, very long time... so by now, like it or not, it the normal size for a Naruto chap.
I feel your pain too and it would be nice to have a bigger one, but that all we'll get =(

Flashbacks inside flashbaks?
Maybe it's current time Hashirama thinking about the battle, then stopping that train of thought and thinking about their past.
So, no flashback inside flashback. Just a different one.

If it's a flashback inside a flashback.. so what? Still is a flashback that will allow us to understand things.
We may not like what Kishi's ideas for that story are, but we need to hear/read them nonetheless.

I disliked
The chapter being way too short, cmon only 15 pages !

Hopefully we'll learn a little bit more about who Hashirama and Madara are/were because they look like they're in a class of their own. Then we'll get to see the end of the fight and move on. I wonder what the chapter means when it says at the beginning ''the fight that started everything'' ? Surely if they've known each other for years as the final pages of the manga says this battle must have been the last in a long history of fights and not the one that started everything ?

More and more I'm starting to doubt the story of Madara given by Obito to Sasuke...maybe we'll know next week !

Madara covered Kurama with Susanoo's Armor protecting Kurama more and adding not only defense but a huge offensive boost as well, thus making Kurama that more destructive, which I thought was clever on Madara's side as Hashirama stated.

Nice chapter. Just cant believe how good Hashi is...... Madara is good dont get me wrong but Hashi just seems to have a counter for everything he does. Summon a the nine tails.....Heres a dragon to bind and drain it, send a TBB..... right back at ya, send a TBB with a sword in it.... cant touch me, cover the nine tails in susanoo...... watch me use a tech that puts it to shame. I mean, everyone who says Madara with edo, rinnegan and mokuton puts him ahead are discounting hashi's ingenuity. He had the edge with susanoo, EMS and the nine tails and that should have been overkill then but Hashi could go toe to toe. I mean Madara said it himself that Hashi can challenge him and he was already in edo which makes me think theres no doubt he can. Hashi is just unbelievable right now. BEASTLY!!!!

Really, what have you been reading? Everything that the Madara camp has accomplished is because of Hashirama. He has broken Oro's edo and is free to do whatever he wants. I take Hashirama over all of Taka and Oro.

Secondly, don't be surprised if Hashi can end up controlling his cells in these other people. His mokutou is awesome and he has huge chakras and a genuis.

Kishi is a massive troll. He has overpowered hashirama so much that he makes nagato, itachi, the other hokage's and other high level ninja's look fodder.

Gawd this is ridiculous. I remember somebody making a theory about hashirama knowing sm and though it was a good theory i hoped it wasn't true . Giving this mf sm just made him ridiculous.

Whilst others flock to hashirama's fanbase i lose interest in him. Too powerful to be a fan of his imo, but it depends on who you are. Fan of his from part 1, but this is too much

Seems like susano can be worn like an armour. Perhaps sasuke or itachi could have actually wore theirs like how madara made the kyuubi wear it

You are really complaining about Kishi overpowering someone? Can we say Madara? Who can't be killed, can regenerate, uses Kage Bushins and can control Tailed Beasts? Oh, by the way, he released himself from Edo, by himself. Are you serious about overpowering a character. Get real. I am so tired of the Uchiha clan and all of their whining. What a low down method of re wording my comment and adding your own spin in such a way I cant reply back to you with a quote Here are the facts:
The battle was a let down in terms of the type of action and fighting used I preferred the fan made ideas actually.

The flashback is going to be a typical rendition of all the other flash backs, which is madara is emotional - jealous and bitter, vs hashirama is care free, caring and loving. Seriously, how many times have we seen these comming?

The battle itself was nothing more than Godzilla vs mecha godzilla ...Plus the whole third eye thing was a let down ...saw it coming I and I am waiting for when madara or obito grows thier 3rd eyes too I guess it will be the sharringan infused with rinnegan how lame.

Next chapter will be a boring flashback of the two most overrated shinobi in the series. What happened to sasuke and naruto? answer the same that happens to madara and hashi. A silly rivalry gone way out of control.

I will give this manga a break until we see some hokages and development in the war.

I am a fan but this manga was a utter failure and let down sasuke is such a dummy for holding things up and to top it off were going to have to go through another flashback most likely when hashirama and madara meet again. If they meet at all at this pace.

The chapter was so short I thought my pages were not loading properly. Go back and read the first 100 chapts and tell me these latest chapters are normal. No they are much shorter and filled with pointless large scale battles because of either lazyness or lack of vision. It does not feel like kishimoto is working anymore.

I am not bitter or angry just sad that the biggest shinobi battle in history is nothing more than a glorified yu gi yo battle aka pokemon demon summoning showdown mixed with eastern philo lessons of hindu gods. I gave the last chapter a 4/5 but this has sunken to a 2/5 anybody giving this more than a 4 has lost my respect and does not know what good writing is. I hope people understand and speak up.

Stop and look at the artwork that Kishi is producing. People need to stop talking about how short the chapter is. These pages are mostly double pages and it takes time to draw them. Then, people have to understand that he is showing how epic this battle is to show that it truly was on a SCALE that was bigger than anything. That is the purpose of these panels.

Also, how much of a win would Hashirama had if Madara didn't control Kurama? It wouldn't have been close, so all of the Madara is close to Hashirama needs to stop this foolishness.

No it still would of been close...if you'd pay attention to the manga, madara said "it's been a while since we've fought to the death" meaning they already went at each other with full force, yet both survived, here again both went at each other with full force, both survived. You do realise that Madara lost control of Kurama in this fight too? maybe Hashirama used Kurama against him once he took over it. I doubt that because of madara's eyes, so they would of been fighting 1 on 1, with no preps...

But we don't know the circumstances behind Izuna's death. If Hashirama caused it, that would be Madara's motivation to attack. I have also entertained the theory that it had something to do with Tobirama wanting to get rid of the Uchiha. Tobirama might have mortally wounded Izuna, making it not directly Hashirama's fault. Instead, Madara's resulting anger would have overtaken the entire village. Therefore Hashirama still mentions Izuna because he had nothing to do with his death.

The amount of possibilities excites me!!
