This ^^^ he finally was able to summon it from awakening the rinnegan. Shinsuusenju is not a summon, just an innate mokuton creation that only moves because harashima's chakra is controlling its movements.

Hashirama is a true senjutsu user. That giant mokuton buddha with a thousands hands is going to give susanoo kyuubi some trouble. However I believe Madara hasn't pulled out his full stabilized perfect susanoo yet. When he does it should be able to give Hashirama at least some more challenge.

you guys forgot,it was nagato that first summoned the gedo(when yahiko died),hence gedo is nagatos summone and was use as the 10 tail shell afterward,so it not in any way related to hashis summone.

Madara Uchiha was able to break the seal placed on it by the Sage of the Six Paths, who had sealed it within the moon, and summon the body to earth. The Demonic Statue was later used by Obito Uchiha and Nagato as the container for the tailed beasts that were captured and resealed into it by the members of Akatsuki

You could be right, good thinking. My theory is similar to yours. I believe that Madara fought with the Shinsuusenju and after he fought with it, it became like what the Gedo Mazou is now. It's arms have been broken and Madara may have reformed it after obtaining it from Hashirama after temporarily defeating him. This is why it's size is also not the same anymore.



If we see this, I think Madara may have lied partly on this but then it also means that the Gedo Mazou has a connection with Hashirama. This is how Madara was able to use "it to cultivate Hashirama's cells." As a result he was able to form clones of Hashirama with his DNA even thought they didn't look exactly like Hashirama.
