Senju does not mean senjutsu SMDH
千手一族 = Senju Ichizoku---Literally meaning Senju clan or The clan with a thousand skills
仙術 = Senjutsu ----Literally means Sage Techniques
See the difference in the characters that is the japanese letters above
I have seen some ridiculous threads and posts since the latest manga came out refering to hashirama having sage mode.
I could be wrong but it looks more like his grandaughter Tsunade's Mitotic Regeneration. It could be sage mode though i can be wrong. I just want to say for all of you english as a first language people senjutsu and senju mean to different things.

Re: Senju does not mean senjutsu SMDH
Exactly, they just master in Senjutsu.
Mitotic regeneration is not sage mode, it is KINJUTSU, a seal used to SEAL accumulated chakra, basically like a storage.
It has nothing to do with "nature chakra", it's her chakra being stored.

Re: Senju does not mean senjutsu SMDH
If you read the latest manga chapter, it is clear that Hashirama does have Sage Mode. It clearly says "Senpou" on page 10.

Sennin literally means sage or hermit
Senju literally means a thousand hands
Jutsu can be translated to mean art as well as technique
Senjutsu is a combination of Senin and Jutsu

Yeah. I believe people already knew what they meant.
Also hasn't it been confirmed somewhere that he does have Sage Mode?

Re: Senju does not mean senjutsu SMDH
The Senju in "senjutsu" is not related to "Senju" at all . "Sen" is a shorter form of sennin which means sage. then you add sen to jutsu which makes Sage Jutsu (Senjutsu). Senju Ichizoku (Senju Clan) means "clan with a thousand skills". The fact that "Senju" is in "senjutsu" is pure coincidence

Re: Senju does not mean senjutsu SMDH
Senjutsu is Sage Art, it has nothing to do with Senju.
Its Sen(sage)+Jutsu=Senjutsu
Senpou means sage art!!!
