Why are there diff versions of Naruto anime?

Ok. I am totally confused. I've spent months watching from 1 to 225ish (version is a torrent) but I find out here it's different. for instance the eps 219 here is not the same one that I watched. Can someone enlighten me. (C:

there is naruto episodes 1-220
and there is naruto shippuuden episodes 1 to 302 presently and still ongoing

Hmm. welp, the ones I watched (appear to be shippuden) are on crunchyroll (the titles matched), but not on here though. for instance the one on crunchyroll, eps 219 is "utimate weapon reborn" while here, it's "kakashi hatake,the hokage".

I think i'll read the manga. later peeps. )

"The Ultimate Weapon Reborn" is the original Naruto episode 219. "Kakashi Hatake, the Hokage" is Naruto: Shippuden episode 219.

Consider Naruto: Shippuden and Naruto two different series. They have their own episode counts. Chronologically, Naruto happens first. Then Naruto goes on a journey with Jiraiya for two years to train, and when he returns, Naruto: Shippuden happens and he's a little bit older.
