Do you hate danzo like I do?

I am one of those people who hates danzo. There are many reason of why I hate him but I am not going to explain why because I could go on forever. What is your opinion on danzo?

For a while now I've noticed that a lot of people hate Danzo and would rather have him die in a corner. Even though without antagonists the story wouldn't move anywhere but I digress. Now, I've wondered for a while why that's so. He hasn't done that much in the story for everyone to want him to die.

Recenlty I've come to a conclusion why people hate Danzo. It's because he's badass. So badass, in fact, that the entire fandom is afraid he'll steal the spotlight. So they want him dead before he can show us his superiority and claim the title of main character.

I already said that Danzo hasn't done much in the story. So you're thinking "How do you know he's badass if he hasn't done much?". And I have your answer. It's not what he has done but rather what his surroundings do.



He's so badass that even his CANE is afraid to fall over after he lets it go. My great-grandmother requires 2 canes to walk and they always fall over after she lets them go. But not Danzo's. It knows the badassery that lives within Danzo and would rather stay upright as to not anger him. Believe in the cane!

Now cower in fear! As the Sharingan-popping, badage-wrapping, wrinkle-bearing, emotion-killing Danzo is coming after you!

I don't hate him, Find him to be pretty badass. Unfortunately when a character is badass in Naruto well it doesn't usually end well...

I rewatched Danzo's death the other day, as sad as it is I honestly cannot bring myself to still like him. The awful things he did to Sai and the rest of Root, the way he basically arranged the Uchiha massacre no sweat, let the Kakashi and the Leaf Village die whilst Naruto bravely fought off Pain (even though Danzo and Root could've put up an AMAZING fight) and how he was just a generally allround nasty character- the guy is just a ****.

There is a good side to his story but he just goes about his plans in all the wrong way and his whole motivation roots from jealousy. That's not a good motivation for any 'good guy' and in the end Danzo was just a coward who always had to follow in the shadow of a better ninja than him, Hiruzen.

Gave the order to massacre the Uchihas- genocide
Killed the messenger toad, preventing him from telling Naruto that the village was under attack.
Had Orochimaru implant senju blood plus Uchiha eyes in him.- treason and disrespect to the Uchihas.
Made Kabuto kill his own foster mom. ( not that I care cuz I hate Kabuto too)
Danzo did a lot of dirt so he'd be considered for the Hokage title. Glad he failed and died.

Yes but what Danzo never noticed and what Tobirama never noticed was that this was doing more harm than good. Killing people and creating grudges only creates more hate and more enemies in the future. Danzo was nothing more than a coward living in Hiruzen's shadow.

am curious about what you think they SHOULD have done ?? killing is wrong blah blah blah (main character did but oh wait .... that was a bad guy huh) instead of pointing out that they were wrong, give me another way to solve this (NO talk no jutsu here) .....

I think Danzou lived hid life the ebst he could, in quite a shadowy, mediocre way of being. Accepting being 2nd best and beyond, defines the lowness of his spirit, though, I do believe with a better match of Hshirama´s cells, would´ve made him a formidable opponent.
