Code Geass, by far one of the best animes IMO. FMA is pretty good too, you should watch the brotherhood version, it goes along with the manga more.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!!!!!! It's the only anime that doesn't suck and the comedy is hilarious. People cried when the anime stopped and fainted when the manga finished.

Hmmm - I'll say, If you haven't watched these yet, try code geass:lelouch of the rebellion, code geasse r2, legend of legendary heroes, chrome shelled regios, Death Note, Kuroko no Basket, Prince of Tennis, Rurouni Kenshin, (I'd suggest that you watch the first few eps and then skip to the prequel of the story, Trust and Betrayal - Its the real deal here.) Hajime no Ippo, Soul Eater, Hayate no Gotoku, Ao no Exorcist, Baka and Test, (Fairy Tail, Bleach, One piece) - I'm sure you know these already.

Then, you could watch, Zetsueno no Tempest. If you want anymore, just PM with info on the kind of genre you like me - I watch a heck lot of animes.

Oh, and about FMA - Its an awesome show, a perfect blend of action, angst, and comedy. But what makes it stand out the most is its plot. Its the best anime for those who like shounen like action, but not too stretched out with fillers. Ofcourse, there's FMA: Brotherhood - Its the real FMA, the manga adaptation and improves least 10 times on all aspects that made FMA stand out. The plot is different, but better.
