how to prevent infinite tsukuyomi

obito mentioned that he will cast the infinite tsukuyomi by focusing the eye of the juubi on the moon thus using it to reflect the genjutsu on the world. So why not destroy the moon? If the moon is destroyed, then no infinite tsukuyomi! Which reminds me......where's piccolo when we need him?
