Awesome chapter, we got to see the depth of the friendship between Hashi and Madara, they actually seemed very close. It was interesting how Hashi had the ideals of how a village should (and would) be run at such a young age, a true genius. Loved how badass little Tobirama looked, can't wait for next week!

Just a thought:

Is it not curious that obviously Tobirama and Izuna know eachother yet Hashi and Madara have no idea what clans the other is from?Based on what Hashi's dad said about the notoriety of Madara's skills, it is interesting that Hashi had no idea who he is.

Izuna has a sword in each hand (or what might me the sheath) and Tobirama has a sword?! These two are about to have an epic fight, I can already tell. They both look like lil badasses too haha, Tobirama got his trademark headgear on now too.

Liked this chapter more than I thought I would... It was very informative, the interaction between Hashirama and Madara is enjoyable (and funny in a good way), and the biggest plus out of this, is that the current war becomes a lot more interesting when you know the story behind the man who's responsible.

The way Madara and Hashirama's father and brother are mirrored, makes me wonder if perhaps Tobirama was the one who killed Izuna.

The only thing that was somewhat ironic is how Hashirama says he wants to make a village where children won't be sent to violent battlefields... xD

I think it's because of their friendship. It seemed strong enough to make both of them not care what their surname was.

Batsama said he did a background check on Madara. That means he probably knew that he was the son of the Uchiha leader and the brother of Izuna. Since Tobirama was accompanying his father on the ambush, his dad probably gave him intel on what he might be up against, including the possibility of fighting Izuna. That and it's possible that Tobirama has fought Izuna before but the first thing I said makes more sense to me.

The ending is good, but overall, i don't like this chapter. It doesn't have any significant event. It only show that the 2 clan really hate each other, also i agree that next week we will see "Tobirama must have been the one who killed Izuna or Hasihrama jumped to save his brother and killed Izuna in the process"

Awesome chapter, good to see Madara's daddy lol Izuna looks so cute haha.... So the manga is going on a break next week and the anime is showing nothing but fillers for the rest of the month ...oh well all I have left is Bleach manga and its anime starting up again soon

From the storyline that we know of, Madara took Izuna's eyes. So yeah...but yeah Tobirama must had something to do with it. Tobirama and Izuna mirror each other, maybe they both have the same personality. Maybe Madara adopted his personality when Izuna died so he wouldn't forget him as he dosen't have the playful attitude like Hashirama when he gets older.

Madara = Hashirama. No wonder these two became very strong. At that age they were stronger then their rival clans average adult lol.

Madara at that point may have been stronger as he was hiding he Sharingan. I think it is kinda obvious Madara went crazy because of something to do with his parents and siblings.
