Looks

Corvo is a very tall and lithe man, standing at 1.5 meters, and weighing in around 90kg. He has shoulder-length brown hair, and usually has a scruffy beard. He is battle hardened, with several scars on his face. He is seen away from friends wearing a strange mask, that has many functions. The lenses are tinted and protect him from bright lights, and it has a re breather built in to save him from air-borne pathogens. On the back of his left hand, he has a strange and unique tattoo. It's a Snake Summons tattoo. Along with his outfit, he constantly carries and old looking book around, and is often seen reading from it.

Personality

Corvo's personality is quite serious. He takes everything quite literally, and doesn't enjoy joking around, especially in matters of security. He comes off sometimes as sarcastic and stuck up, but it is rarely the case. Extremely professional in all matters. Though, through all of this, he is show to be able to play with and have a good relationship with Emily, which surprises everyone. Emily was his passage to grow to become friends with other people, and found comfort in those new friends.

Background Information


Corvo Attano was born into the village Kirigakure, to a proud set of parents. His father was an Kiri Anbu ninja, while his mother worked in the Intelligence Core. They were very strict and serious, and took raising Corvo in the same manner. He group up not knowing what fun was, but with critical thinking, logic, and hard work. For this reason, he excelled in his trainings, and rose to the attention of the Mizukage. From age eight an on, he trained as a special guard and assassin, directly under the sight of the Mizukage. Under his tutalge, Corvo found his first and greatest element, Raiton. He mastered it quickly between the abilities of his teacher and his inborn talent.

He was raised and trained this way until he was twenty years old, in which the Mizukage set him out into the world. His mission was simple, at first. He was to go out into the world, and learn what he can from all walks of life. He then learned from the great Mugiwara, his ability to use the Shikotsumyaku. He quickly returned to Kiri with this exciting discovery, hoping to make his parents proud. Upon his return though, he found out that his parents had been spies, and betrayed Kirigakure to the Akatsuki. He was in utter disbelief, and watched as his parents killed fellow Kirigakure ninja to escape. Corvo, unsure of his loyalties, ran in to an injured Mizukage, who asked him to follow his parents and Akatsuki, and gain their trust. This would be his biggest assignment yet.

He ran to follow them, and officially left the ranks of Kirigakure, and followed an Akatuski man, named Scarface, to the land of Sound, where he joined the village of Otogakure. There he studied both the techniques of Scarface and Orochimaru, and signed the Snake Contract. He also begin trainings in Sound Release, but was cut off when Orochimaru had the village attack Konohagakure. Knowing failure was imminent, and that he could learn all he knew from Orochimaru, he followed Scarface back to his real home, in the rainy city of Amegakure.

He never saw his parents, but knew that they were somewhere to be found. In the mean time, he made his home in Amegakure, and quickly rose through the ranks there as well. Ten years passed, and Corvo was torn once again between the Village that raised him and the Village he now calls his home. He had made many friends here, something he never had in his life, and was guarding one of the most important women in the village, the Amekage's daughter. He spent night and day with her, and loved her completely. When a terrible sickness came to Amegakure, he was asked to leave for the other Villages, in seeking peaceful aid against the disease that plagued them. He had to leave his protected charge, and his four year old daughter, Emily, to seek the help they so desperately needed.

He returned years later, to find everything to being going quite the way he had left. To his sorrow though, he returned with terrible news. The other Villages planned an attack on Amegakure, to wipe out both the village and the plague. He went straight to Jessamine with the information, and she quickly began sending people to ensure the defenses of the village. While alone with Corvo, Jessamine was attacked by infiltrating ninja. Corvo killed many of them, but eventually was subdued by a pair of ninja, one who trapped Corvo in a jutsu, while the other killed his love in front of him. They then fled the scene before Corvo could recover, and kidnapped Emily on their way out. The only clue left to Corvo was a letter on one of the assassins, detailing the job and where to receive the payment from. Corvo went back out into the ninja world, seeking out the very people who raised him, seeking out the Anbu of Kirigakure...

Upon his arrival at Kiri, he noted the village had changed a lot. The happy place that he grew up in was gone, and the entire village seemed dark. As he blended in expertly with the crowd, he discovered that a new Mizukage had been found, and he ruled with an iron fist. Corvo confronted the man about the killings in Amegakure, and while finding the truth, was attacked by the Kage's guard. He cut down the Kiri Ninja with easy, leaving the Kage clinging to life for questioning. As Corvo took the mans mask, he learned it was his own father. Having betrayed both Corov's mother, and Amegakure to kill Jessamine, Corvo slew his father and left the village for good. That day, Corvo's attitude towards the world darkened, and he became a killing machine, willing to do anything needed to protect Emily and the Village.

During his life with the Village and Emily, he slowly began to soften up. He was still able to defend the Village with fury, but it was a righteous fury, borne of love for those he protected, rather than hate for those he hunted. Corvo's entire personality seemed to shift, with his happiness for Emily's safety at the center. Everyone took notice of the change, and he began making friends besides Emily. Corvo Attano, for the first time in many years, had found peace.

It was in this peace that the world threw itself at both Amegakure, and the new Corvo. Three villages attacked Amegakure, and Corvo led a defying victory on the front lines. Though he was outnumber, Corvo fought for the first time in his life with reasons, instead of orders. He struck down as many of the invaders as he could, but as the first battle finished, he realized they were helplessly outnumbered. It was during this lull in the battle that he learned of the dark plans behind Amegakure, and the experiments of Akatsuki, and decided to flee the village in the night, taking Emily with him. He ran like never before to the one place he had thought he would never see again, his birthland of Kirigakure.

Description: Weiss is a book designed by an unnamed Sage with all his life long knowledge inscribed into the book. The book is meant to be used both as a weapon and companion on journeys, to unseal the book the user must first provide a blood sacrifice much like summoning technique and pour the blood over the first pages of the book. The book absorbs the blood and assumes a personality best fit for the user in battles as well daily life. The book floats around near and far from the user while passively absorbing chakra from the user. The book is capable of see, talk, smell, hear as well as feel if its being touched. Weiss talks in a wise man’s voice, in combat Weiss can help navigate the user of things he can’t see. Weiss can sense chakra, and can always feel where his user is and come back to him flying in case of being lost, and always keep an active communication with the user through telepathy, it could transmit visual and sound based messages by the user with itself as a medium (I.e. Book showing a message/recording in its pages) through long ranges. Weiss like any other custom weapon is indestructible, it can also be used as replacement to scrolls allowing the users to store objects within Weiss and use it for sealing techniques. Weiss can use special techniques by chanting verses (Will submit them separately in the form custom weapon techniques) and can use simple maneuvers like spreading its paper around to hide the user or distract the opponents but it cannot use any conventional ninjutsu.

☣ Raiton :

Due to his amazingly high level of mastery over Raiton, and his constant use of it in battle, he can preform any jutsu of the element with only a single hand seal.

☣ Kyotōryū Martial Arts :

Corvo's fighting style literally makes him a human sword. It’s a unique brand of nintaijutsu that stands on the middle ground of Gentle Fist and Strong Fist. His taijutsu is a mixture of both technique and force adding to that the element of surprise of using the users body as a sword makes him all the more deadly.

-Enhanced Speed: Corvo is less affected by air resistance. His training and methods makes him fast, along with incredible stamina, being able to gain incredible momentum within a second and maintaining it for long periods.

-Enhanced Durability: Being a human sword, Corvo has a body resistant to a variety of damages. His defense itself is his offense.

-Cutting and piercing attacks: His ordinary attacks have the ability to cut. His hits are fast and precise. Combined with his Raiton techniques, he could predict his opponent’s possible defenses and always make the moves that would land a hit.

☣ Shikotsumyaku :

Corvo discovered his bloody ability while traveling the world, and has trained it for the past twelve years. Almost forgotten, the name of Kaguya is well known through the Ninja World, though his use of it in assassinations. Knowing how important and powerful it is, Corvo trained his bones every day since he discovered the ability.

☣ Silent Killing Technique :

After years of training and fighting in both assassinations and counter-assassinations, Corvo has mastered this technique.

☣ Snake Summoning :

After following the Akatsuki from Kumogakure, Corvo learned the entirety of the Snake contract from one of the strangest and oldest members, mastering it quickly, including the legendary "Snake Mode" (not Sage Mode). He has the summoning seal for the Snakes on the back of his left hand.

I'm a big fan of the history, up until the point where your character's daughter dies in what seems to be a bit of a filler. I think you've chosen a great character, but I can't help but feel sad that you'd make 'yet another cold killer'. In my opinion, it makes it so much harder to do any character development.
Besides that; I really love the feeling of this biography, and I can't stress how awesome it is to see someone who doesn't just write '19' as his characters age. There are too many teenage-masterminds walking around.
