      Re: Shakespeare

I liked his plays. They were entertaining. Especially Macbeth.

A Midsummer Night's Dream was silly, but I was a kid when I read it so I loved it

      Re: Shakespeare

I remember reading Romeo and Juliet when I was 14 for the first time.I like a Midsummer Night's Dream because it was silly, but fun to read, like Roku said.

And my school's drama department is doing Macbeth as the main play this year,so maybe I'll check out the book too (: Apparently the play is cursed or something, and people call it The Scottish Play instead...I'm not sure about it,but my friend from drama told me about it.

      Re: Shakespeare

I think R & J is a bit overrated, compared to the other love stories Shakespeare wrote.
For example "Troilus & Cressida" appeals to me more; "Othello" is also an amazing tragic love story.
But by far, my favorite of his works is: "The Merchant of Venice".

      Re: Shakespeare

As confusing as he can be, I enjoy reading his stories because they are mixed with every kind of tragedy, unhappy, sweet, twisted endingss, etc... My favorite is Romeo and Juliet. A Winter's Tale is failry good too but the most confusing so far to me is Hamlet.
