It was decent however I really hate the fact that Lucy is the main character...she's useless, they should of given her less screen time and gave other characters more like Natsu, Erza, Gray and Laxus.

The animation was just like the episodes to be fair, the fights were good but at times I did find myself sighing at some parts. The plot itself was pretty good quite surprising actually.

The animation is nothing like the episodes imo. Much smoother and more fluent. The movie obviously had a larger budget lol. It's a decent movie. Fun for the Fairy Tail fans. I liked it

I didn't like it. the plot was so-so, the animation sucks and the end was terrible.

Didn't like it, the animation was above average, the plot was crap, the only thing I liked was the duck.

I just watched it.
Not bad actually, the animation was astonishing...but Lucy's voice always pisses me off.

Meh meh, it didn't live up entirely to my expectations. Not bad, but neither spectacular good. I didn't really get why it was more or less implied that the one who fought Gajeel was Rogue and the chronology was just weird. A girl first has to flee, pops up before Fairy Tail with amnesia, which she apparently had for 4 centuries or something and that the kingdom was built on the place she had to flee.

Great animation though.

The animation was propably the only good thing in the whole movie.
It was quite absurd how they were able to defeat the dark guild, how did Natsu counter Dyst's gravity?
and the end could've been better without Lucy, the girl sacrified herself for the sake of everybody, and Lucy is too selfish to accept her death.
You just can't have a good anime without useless and annoying characters (Sakura,Nami,Lucy...)

Just watched it....i can truly say that FT really is trying hard ito make sad emotions out of its audience..and then try to fix it-----if that makes any sense!(it is late here so i am a bit sleepy)
Overall quite good...a Fairy Tail's kind of movie!

It was alright not the best ive seen but not the worst. Lucy always pissing me off so its whatever. The ending was crap though.

top ten wost movies I've ever watched through..as soon as the film ended i felt like the last hour and 20 mins of my life was a complete waste......animation was good but the plot was awful

It was good.

Animaton was excellent, way above the anime's level.

The plot was cool, I felt it was kinda rushed though.

The end was SAD!!!! I cried!!! T^T

Better than Shippuuden movies and better than what I expected.

Pros:

Great animation
Good combo attacks - some new things too instead of casual attacks we are used to.
Some cool fanservice as always in FT.
Some sad portions were well-handled.

Cons:

The plot was pretty stupid
Lucy's portion was wrongly written for her as the makers made her a crybaby instead of her usual self.
