Looks: Rei has short dark blue hair with his bangs swept to the side of his face. He has blue eyes that are normally half closed; when they are fully open, it usually means he is hiding behind his mask, because he never shows his emotions unless it is truly necessary that is when he puts his "mask" on. He wears a completely plain black suit, and under that which consists of a white T-shirt, and a black long sleeved jacket, and black slacks over his original clothes. In addition, he wears a ring on his left thumb to control his chakra to surpress it, and a glove over the same hand to further restrict himself. When he was first seen, he wore a black long rain coat instead of his jacket. Also when going on missions or even training with his partner he usually wears a completely long black coat over his original outfit, which make it hard for enemies to spot his handseals when performing a jutsu.

Personality: Ōgami has shown many different sides to himself. One is at the amegakure ninja academy, where he acts like an ordinary student; polite, kind and somewhat shy. However, when he does his work for Eden, (a mysterious organization) he completely transforms into a ruthless killer, who only kills what he deems "evil" thus having his own twisted sense of justice. Despite that he claims to not care about people, he has shown signs that he does care for people and he shows this through unusual means, but nonetheless he truly does care for others' well-being, and by others I mean only his circle of friends who would gladly do the same for him. As mentioned before, Ogami is actually a kind person, which was also mentioned by Yuuki. He went to so much trouble to save the cats, including Yuuki (in his cat form), from an explosion during one of Ogami's missions, even though he gave the cold shoulder to Yuuki as he compliments Ogami of being kind. It was the first time he met Yuuki, too. He has begun to change his views and opinions about killing as shown in chapter as he states death brings nothing but regret and pity. This is best seen when he does not kill his partners after returning from an A-rank mission. Ogami can also be quite clueless, especially about love, since he seemed oblivious to Sakurakouji's feelings towards him and found her blush very intriguing. He thought it was a unique characteristic, finding all these all very new to him.

•• Background Info. ••

History: 大神零 Ōgami Rei is a shinobi from Amegakure. Amegakure is a small, yet highly industrialised hidden village located in an unnamed country. Its architecture is composed of several metallic skyscrapers with rowed ducts connected to them and many power lines surrounding. A number of smaller villages also surround Amegakure. As its name suggests, it rains almost constantly due to a storm above the village. Ōgami was born a little before the Third Shinobi World War prior to the Nine-Tails' Attack on Konoha. Rei was orphaned during the Third Shinobi World War, thus losing his parents at the age of four, he was forced to steal food in order to survive, similar to the Ame Orphans. Because of a decline in national power, the reign of the Five Great Countries was crumbling. Along their borders, skirmishes with smaller nations broke out all the time. The prolonged war gradually spread its fires far and wide, until at last it developed into the Third Shinobi World War. This war turned into an unprecedented war of attrition, tormenting all nations with a shortage of war potential. Not even excluding a great power like Konoha, very young children were thrown unto the battlefield, losing their short lives. Thus Ōgami had no choice but to fight for his own survival, by ambushing other shinobi, and disintermenting of corpses from graveyards or battlefields. As the time passed by, he gained experience and discovered that he was a sensory type since he could follow his enemies movements even when he was surounded by more than five Kirigakure ninja not to mention that he could already break out of a Genjutsu placed on him, since he could detect forgein chakra entering his body. And because of the people he killed he started to think that life was not important, making him more cold torwards other Ame ninja and the villagers began to fear him, while he was just a child and being treated in a similar way that the Jinchuuriki's were treated. Causing him massive psychological damage, so he couldn't take anymore of it thus shutting all of his emotions off what made him at least human. It was obviously a little too much for a mere child to survive on his own, so he found a simple yet effective solution and that was not to care anymore. Time-skip

A few years later (8 years old) when he became a young boy who could hold his own against a full fledged Root-ANBU ninja, all by himself who are known to be the bests of the best amongst the ANBU. Gaining the infamous nickname amongst the Amegakure shinobi and the other five nations known as simply "No. 06" since he carved those pair of numbers into every one of his victims he killed or rather slaughtered, all because he deemed them "Evil" he had his own sense of justice. Throughout the war that Ogami experienced, he also gained important knowledge that even most advanced Jounin's did not have, so not knowing his limits he challenged a man. This man was the leader of Amegakure at that time, when he challenged Hanzo of the Salamander, he learned alot during their battle to even pressure him Amegakure's leader, but at the end he lost but Hanzo spaired his life and said that he would become a terrifying shinobi one day, sinse he shut down all of his emotions (similair to Sai). At the age of 10 he discovered that he was an advanced sensor type, and not to mention his signature element which he also discovered during the war it was the fire release. He adapted to the Rain which was constantly falling down on Amegakure hence the name, he learned about Genjutsu the art of illusions, which tormented every one of his opponents who would face him. With this he started advancing more and more every day since he was defeated by Hanzo of the Slamander. Not to mention that he started using the rain element after mastering the most of the basics even picking up Kenjutsu a few samurai sword styles which he combined with his fire element, as the time progressed he started to mature and found out the truth about Amegakure and its leaders, they who formed the Akatsuki; The Ame Orphans. At this time he was already 17 years old, so Ogami asked if he could join them and told him his past, also because he agreed with them on their "true goal" but they refused him and gave him another position within the organisation. All because Pain (Yahiko) liked his cold personality and he experienced the same pain as Ogami Rei did he even praised him for it and made him into a spy since his personality was perfect for the job. Equipment/Kenjutsu: In terms of fighting style, Ōgami relies mainly on swordplay. Aside from his initial training during the war he picked it up along the way, he is essentially on a "learn as you go" training regimen; thusly, his skill has developed by fighting rather than formal instruction, becoming even more capable with every fight. While usually fighting right-handed, Ōgami appears to be ambidextrous, as he is proficient in wielding a katana (long-sword) in his left hand. Thus Ōgami carries around a customized katana, which is a long sword he carries it on his back. With its sheath tucked inside his shoulder belt, which crosses his chest area. The weapon is quite complex in appearance, sporting a tsuba which is more curved and jagged than regular tsuba's. Its shape is vaguely reminiscent of a triangle, and the hilt in the midlde, wrapped in a traditional, dark blue tsuka-ito. The appearance of the sword without the sheat itself is quite distracting, because of the light blue blade the same color as Ōgami's flames. The sword has a chain which is allways attached to both the base of the sword's hilt and to Ōgami's glove, forming a wide loop, the sheat is made of dense steel which is very hard to break. 零時迷子, Reiji Maigo

Elemental Affinity: Ōgami is very adept in the use of his Flames, Fire release making him able to perform every fire related technique's except for Kekkei Genkai with a single handseal. He is also very fast when performing rain related techniques wandering throughout Amegakure as the name already suggests, he is a master of the Rain element itself and his second signature element. He can perform every Rain technique at a astounding rate.
