The legend of Venirex

Title: The legend of Venirex

History: Venirex is a large continent with multiple environments. It has five regions where five distinct races live. In this region there is a legend. Long ago a warrior lived in the region and brought peace and prosperity to the region. He also stopped all wars in the region or at least that is how the legend goes. It is also said in the legend that he left his sword in a stone and that when someone draws it out of the stone he or she is the true successor. However centuries have passed and no one has discovered the entrance or the location of his blade. The region has separated into five different regions with five different races searching for the man's mystical weapon. These region are on the brink of war due to the inability to understand one another.

Five races:
1. Humans
2. Elf
3. Shade
4. Werewolves
5. Were cats

Abilities:
Humans- Typically short lived, tend to be average in intelligence, great fighting spirit, extremely creative and very adaptive. They can use elemental based magic. Can only use a hammer or a sword. You can only choose to use two unless you are an elemental master.
Elf- Typically long or infinite life, tend to be genius level in intelligence, great archers, extremely fast and strong, insane ability to analyze most techniques. There are two types of elves and they are light or dark. The light elves are masters in all light type magic and the dark elves are masters in all dark type magic. They can only use a bow or a spear
Shade- Can't be killed on Earth since they come from a different dimension. They need to go back to their own dimension to recharge, It is assume that they have no connection to any race because they always were a cape that conceals their body and a face mask made of Iron that does not affect their speed, Legendary at spirit type magic, They have no true fraction or alliance. They can't use a weapon.
Werewolves- They can not use any weapons except for a dagger, insane healing ability, can't use magic, very aggressive and easily forced into anger, Silver negates its healing or running out of energy.
Were cats- They can only use a small hunting knife as a weapon, They always seem to know what is going on, unknown if they can use magic but very knowledgable on the subject, by far the smartest race.

Ability Ranking:
1. Arisen- Only available to humans and elves by far the strongest at everything. They can transform into a mystical animal. If you choose this category please remember that you have to chose a region and that will determine what animal transformation you get. Please note that there can only be 25 arisen to represent each of the five animals. Also if you choose this level I will inform you which Animal selected you. Can only use light or dark or any elemental magic. All blades carry the color of the main color of what you transform into.
2. Mage- Master at magic or the arcane arts. Long range attacks. Vulnerable to close quarter combat.
3. Swordsman- Close range fighters that are vulnerable to magic. Weak against long range fighters
4. Necromancer- Only shades have this rank. They can use spirit magic.
5. Psychopath- Only werewolves can have this rank.
6. Elemental master- Human use only
7. Demon or Life magic- Elf use only.
8. All knowing- Were cats are the only ones who have this rank.

Note: any one can use light, dark, or spirit magic however only those that excel in those categories can use necromancy magic (spirit), Life magic (light), Demon magic (Dark).

Mystical Animals:
Please keep in mind that just because you pick a terrain or region doesn't mean you will get that animal. You might just get something else. When you put the region down if you want to be an Arisen please describe the environment a bit.
Dragons: Rumored to live in the mountainous regions.
Phoenix: Rumored to live in the forest.
Basilisk: Rumored to live in the Prairies.
Griffin: Rumored to live in the wood lands.
Wyvern: (Bat looking) Rumored to live in the swamp regions.

Social level:
Must be in color:
Leader: Controls one type Rank or group of people. You can only get this level if you PM and I must respond saying yes.
Must stay in black:
Second: Chosen by the leader
Spell master: Must be a mage
Fighter: Mage and swordsman
Warrior: swordsman

Every now and then I will post a challenge for a certain group, race, rank, or social level to do. These challenges will have special rewards for the person who completes them. Only one person can complete since it requires you to slay something. However you can work as a team so everyone can get a reward. Only the person kills it gets the special reward.

Please do not fight every chance you get. Go on quests to learn new techniques or something.
