I have to admit, for the first time since i started reading naruto i am now finally truly disappointed by a naruto manga chapter, i prefered tobis telling of how izuna died; heroically and fought blind dieing in battle like a BOSS (although dying isn't a good thing). But the way he got wounded by tobirama was to simplistic to me. Izuna is nearly on par with madara in overall capabilities and has the MANGEKYOU SHARINGAN....i mean COME ON!
I know we didn't see the whole battle but still. This also brings up another disappointment in this chapter, the fact i felt the chapter was rushed, why is he rushing the manga? What for?
I have to admit, its reasons such as this as why SOME people prefer one piece, Oda takes time and expresses events in detail, if kishi didn't rush and added more detail and emphasis to certain events the 2 writers would be on par.
Please Kishi think before releasing such chapters, the war saga had so much potential but it was rushed on many occasions (e.g. 7 swordsmen).
Kishi needs 2 step up seriously.

Wasnt Izuna blind before the fight ? Aren't there two different types of storys. The One Madara took the Eye of his Brother with force, and the one madara lost his eyesight more and more because of ecessive usage ? So Izuna offered him his eyes, and thats why he died to Tobirama easily. I guess its hard to fight blind.

But maybe iam far away on the wrong way and got the story wrong.

I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH YOU!!! the death of Izuna should have been because he died fighting during blindness like a true warrior. NOT because he got slashed by tobirama. It's completely ridiculous and it pisses me off. I mean madara is stronger than tobirama for sure, and Izuna is equal with madara so he shouldn't have been killed by tobirama like that. I dont even know if kishi was even thinking when he did this last chapter. He was probly drunk and made the manga contradict itself. He used to state that uchiha and senju were equal. Madara=hashi and Izuna=tobirama, etc. But now he's making the uchiha seems so inferior. Like wtf???

1. It was a good chapter so stop complaining.

2. Izuna dying from a sword slash doessnt mean he was weak; anybody caught off guard can be killed especially by such a technique plus you don't know how long the battle had carried or how exausted he was before he was fatally wounded.

3. The fact that Madara was killing elite Senju shinobi without even awakening his sharingan is even more impressive than him doing so afterwards. (Note that the best Uchiha have been shown to do more with less like Itachi for example and not just spam the sharingan)

4. Saying that Kishi has plot holes in a manga that is unfinished is like saying an unfinished bridge is uncrossable; duh, just wait for its completion.

5. Hashirama is and always was the most badass shinobi to ever walk the ninja world. Hiruzen & Uchuha fan boys need to just pay homage.

My prediction is that the flashback-in-a-flashback will finally be over next chapter. The creation of Konoha will be brief, it'll go back to the original flashback and I will cross my fingers and hope it ends either 625 or 626.

I feel like Madara's offer is more of a test than anything. A test to see if Hashirama would really do it or not.

My prediction is that Hashi is obviously going to say no. When Madara sees that Hashi puts family over dreams, he'll agree to form Konoha even if deep inside he might hate the Senju for killing his younger brother.

i was expecting a full out fight between izuna and tobirama...including the fathers of the two...anyways i feel like kishi wanted to move along with the main storyline and wrapped things up, so its pretty much tobirama who gave izuna them fatal wounds m....

The Story is not taking too long, All this hype is sort of overrated. I feel as if I can better understand how the story is going to play out, I mean it seems that The fact that the Uchiha came to an alliance with the Senju was more of a way to infiltrate the unit and successfully destroy them. Now that Madara and Hashirama have come to the point in which the alliance is actually present but just enough to have some uchiha retreat and join the leaf. Madara states he will only rejoin the alliance if one of the Senju brothers sacrifices their own life.

If what I predict may be right, I think that the senju created the Edo tensei as a way to trick Madara. Once Madara finds out he decides that the Senju were not trustworthy and then decides to destroy the leaf for good.. But it is just a rough prediction.

Awseome Chapter ! I give it a 5/5 . Hashirama is a freakin beast :3 I dont think that Kishi should tell us more about Izuna. He isnt that important for the story..Im so excited for next weeks chapter .

Ok chapter. We didn't see a lot of progression, unfortunately. How Izuna died wasn't even really answered. Everything in this chapter was all ready stated earlier. The Awakening timeline for M's eyes I guess was new...whoopty doo

This chpt was awsome but there was NO̶̷̩̥̊͡ fight btw the nine tail susano and the roughly thousands of hand, what was of isuna's power with his ms and madara power with ems.

Just a note on the whole what clan is stronger, blah blah, it would seem that the Senju are more powerful on a whole but the Uchiha have the Uchiha have the penchant for producing a profoundly more powerful individual shinobi, due to the Sharingan and how far along it ends up at with the Uchiha it unlocked. Yes, Hashirama is obviously more powerful than
Madara, but it simply seems that the Uchiha are capable of having a more powerful shinobi come out on an individual basis, though this is all moot, and the writer has focused far more on Uchiha clan, and hasn't the only Senju seen outside of edo Tensei and flashbacks being Tsunade?_?

This chapter felt kinda rush to me, but this is the 1st hokages flash back within a flash back lol. If Kishi did not show Izuna death in the 1st hokages flash back, I assume "maybe" we will see Izuna death from Madara point of view in the later chapters.

Um, hopefully we wont have to suffer an issue dedicated intricately up to the moments leading to Izuna's end, having to wait a week so we can all revel in redundancy. He died. We saw how he died. Being killed by Tobirama, one of the more powerful shinobi in history, and probably near/at Izunas level, takiing him out with one of the most potent and useful jutsus in a battle of any kind, well ... no shame in that for the people that want not-quite a major sticking point (the end result was big time, but anyway) which would be Izuna on a whole, his existence provides relevance, the aftereffects of his death do as well, but it is in no way to affect anything other than the meteoric rise in useless DBZ-style filler gunking up the works.
