overall, as a clan they are superior. maybe the uchihas back then kept losing but if mads didnt go insane, i bet he would have kept improving and took over konoha with kyuubi. imagine an army of EMS. hashis the only really good senju we've seen and the only one with mokuton. you cant see him as a representation of his clan. whereas uchihas have had obito madara itachi sasuke izuna shisui. its painfully obvious who is superior as a whole. hashi may have basically solo'd them back in the day but he freaking carried the senjus. evne if a fodder senju > fodder uchiha, the fact remains as a whole the top tiers of ucihas far outweigh tobirama and tsunade.
do you think senjus would have beaten madara and izuna in 624 if hashi wasnt there? no? exactly. he carried them. the value of a strong clan is having more than one especially strong guy. hel senjus were completely off paneled whereas uchihas had to be taken down by 2 of their own. so much for senju pride. cant even stay on top.
