Minato's Inspiration

Has anyone else noticed the subtle similarities between Tobirama and Minato. Now, I'm definitely not saying they're related but there are definite parallels in their skills. I think that Tobirama, or his legacy as a shinobi was the catalyst for the type of warrior Minato wanted to be. Not his views/morals exactly but skills instead.

Sensory:

Tobirama

"side from his battle prowess, Tobirama was also a very gifted sensor ninja since childhood. By simply touching the ground with his index finger, he could detect the presence and number of enemy shinobi"

Minato
"Minato could detect the presence of people within an area by simply placing his finger on the ground"

Space/Time Techniques

Minato
Able to use the Flying thunder God technique to teleport in areas that he's placed seals. Able to travel long distances.

Tobirama
Is able to teleport short to maybe mid ranged areas without the use of hand seals.

So, I think Minato modeled his techniques and their style after Tobirama. What do ya guys think? lol. And yes, it can be obvious by now but I want to hear other ppls thoughts and if anyone else has spotted other similarities.

I do not think they are related, but similar yes. That is because the Hokage have a scroll they write things down in. Might be how Minato learned FTG.

True there are a few similarities between the two of them.....but Tobirama is the bigger badass

Honestly after reading todays manga I'm quite convinced that Minato and Tobirama are blood-related.
Kishi didnt make any far fetched hints thus fur, I mean look at Tobi. It was obvious, too obvious for some, that he was pointing out to Obito. This seems like something Kishi would do. Plus, we know about the conflict between Senju and Uchiha and we kind of want to see Naruto and Sasuke right in that battle. For now however, there was never anything said about Naruto beeing Senju-related. However, if it should turn out that Tobirama and Minato are related, we might have found the missing peace in the puzzle.

That all being said, I still dont feel like I would like it that way. On the other hand however I didnt like Tobi beeing Obito as well... its something Kishi would pull off.

If Tobirama And Minato are related, it would mean naruto has senju blood, and would explain a little more why naruto and sasuke are destined to fight

i agree with the similarities in battle style as you must be a fool not think so but they aint related as when they where revived they never said a single word to each other and if they are related it must be far down the chain but in my personal opinion minato being related to senju would kinda ruin his character as i like the fact that minato is a natural genius and not another clan genius
