Did Kishi throw the uzumaki clan in last minute?

Did he come up with "the uzumaki are distant relatives to the senju" just to keep Naruto and Sasuke's rivalry relevant to the senju vs uchiha cycle?

Some people say the SO6P may have been an uzumaki, but wouldnt that take away from the purpose of the will of fire vs curse of hatred cycle that we now see from naruto and sasuke? They are suppose to be 2 sides of a coin...if Naruto isnt a senju it kinda takes away from" The Elder vs Younger son" cycle. What r ur thoughts?

Personally i feel that the SO6P was an from the Original Tribe of the Uzumaki and that his tribe later became the distant relatives of his descendants. Tht said, i think it would therefore be fitting that Naruto Uzumaki be the Sage reincarnation. Uzumaki have always been called disrant relative of Senju becauce of their strong body and Chakra levels (from the Sage). but considering the Senju and Uchiha were originally of the two brothers, common sense would suggest the Uzumaki were therefore somehow also connected to the Uchiha.

It would make sense that Naruto Uzumaki, along with the will of fire, be chosen to be the next SO6P over someone like Sasuke. because if we remember, the Original SO6P chose the younger brother (Senju) to be his successor for the simple fact that he had also inherited his 'Will' (of Fire).

The most Sasuke can be now i guess is a dark Sage with Rinnegan. i do think people should open their mind to Sasuke as he is a direct Uchiha, however, like i said: I still believe the original SO6P was Uzumaki (hence the POWERFUL Seals he was able to use to Seal the Juubi inside himself, his weapons - all of them happen to have Sealing Abilities) and he must have Sealed the Juubi before acquiring the Rinnegan and going on to create further Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Doujutsu, and the seperating elements and clans of the Shinobi world.
