In the past, there were no female shinobi?
Haven't seen one single female shinobi in these past chapters. Not one!
Strange.

I'm not sure. Females had more important roles in certain rooms... Where breakfast is prepared. xD

They were all in the kitchen, laundry rooms, or hospitals. They were also useful tools for creating the next generation of shinobi.

Re: In the past, there were no female shinobi?
Hashi and Madara are actually the first set of rivals without a girl invovled. And look how powerful they turned out!
I think the more useful the third girl is, the less powerful the two rivals are. That's why, even though Hashi and Madara never had a girl in there relationship, Sasuke and Naruto will surpass them.

Re: In the past, there were no female shinobi?
Dude.. have u not realized that the hokage's wife is a Jinchuriki.. that means she is pretty much a Shinobi.. Ordinary woman cannot become Jinchuriki.. only Shinobi Women can.. the story is about madara and hashi.. this is not hashi's luv story.. so not much emphasis on females.. ya stil atleast 1 or 2 female shinobi should be thr in hashi's flashback.. may b a girl who is in luv with madara and got killed by hashi :D

Mito was a kunoichi.
There's no such thing as a female shinobi, a shinobi refers to a male ninja.
There were female ninja, though.
