I don't understand the connection between hollow and spanish. I can understand the shinigami (samurai) - japanese, the quincy ("nazi" soldiers) - german, but, the hollows? Maybe the reason I dont see it is that I'm spanis myself, and can't see spanish objetively.

Eh...... I think what -S- was trying to point out was how Kubo makes the three different races use different languages to name their abilities. Shinigami use Japanese, Quincy use german and the hollows use Spanish.
