It was an average chapter in my opinion. I don't get why you guys liked that much the Madara Vs Danzo, we didn't really see anything there, only a few frames.
The talking was too much between Naruto and Sai, but it just stated the obvious: Sakura was lying blah blah.
And after the epic death of Kisame, i think i am gonna give a chance to Sakura to prove herself in fighting Sasuke. Before you bite my head off, I am not saying she can win; but I will keep hoping.

I think that would be an interesting fight as they've never gone at it like Sauske and Naruto. Even more interesting would be how do you think Naruto would react if Sauske actually killed Sakura?

I really really really like this chapter, even tho there is no real action.
1. Kakashi finally confirms that he will intend to become Hokage.
2. As i expected and as many people did, Sakura went to hunt Sasuke down, which is major event here as I think that she will either succeed, be killed (sakurahaters would be satisfied), or we would have some very interesting stuff in Sasu vs. Naru (and others). or maybe my favorite way the series would get even more interesting and that is as follows:
SAKURA SASUKE, SASUKE EVIL, SASUKE = EVIL, SAKURA EVIL, SAKURA = LIE, SAKURA = EVIL, SAKURA joins SASUKE in AKATSUKI
( like thats ever gonna happen -.-)
3. Danzo vs. Madara and even more reveal of the whole Uchiha problem thingy, and could Danzo really be able to beat (or hurt, slow down etc. Madara even tho thats little likely because whole Juubi thing wouldn't have much point now would it) and what are his intentions (He probably won't return to Konoha, or is that just me).
4. Danzos seal! What does it do?
P.S. Don't you really think he is getting boring with all his seals -.-... Right arm seal this, Root secret tongue seal that...blah blah blah... -.-

I found the chapter well... average... I see that there's gonna be a change of events soon, and look forward to it.
But right now I just think the chapter was alot of "bla bla bla" and then in the end Danzo says he's gonna release his arm... Woooh, he says he's gonna release the arm....(bet the time he need to release the arm take about one chapter..)

But I'm curious about what is gonna happen next.

I'm not sure Gaara was saying that Naruto needs to kill Sauske. He told him that as Sauske's friend he should do what he must (which is leaving the option to save Sauske up to Naruto). I believe that Gaara feels Naruto is the only person that can save Sauske and before he steps in and tries to kill him, he'll at least give Naruto a chance.

This was the part that most confused me when reading this chapter. I usually understand the manga (it usually isn't very deep), but maybe something happened with translation but what Gaara said is very ambiguous...

If you are prepared to bear the title of Kage, then do what you must as Sasuke's friend.

The title of Kage means that Naruto would have to kill Sasuke because a Kage must go beyond personal feelings and act for the sake of the ninja world. Killing Sasuke would help the ninja would. But then Gaara says as his friend which complicates things. Gaara is not a normal Kage, he believes in Naruto's ability to change people, and especially hopeful for Naruto to save Sasuke. Unless he is saying, like Sakura, if you love him then you must kill him. But I think there is a tension going on here...To save or to kill Sasuke?

With all that said, I don't think what Gaara said is clear black & white.

Maybe during the fight with Sauske Naruto will still be unable to kill him though in his last ditch effort to save him , Naruto Seals the dark side of Sauske away so that only his light half remains.

In other words he becomes good again ... and Naruto either dies or he perfected that " Reaper Death Seal " and doesn't die.

It was an ok chapter. Kishi keeps thickening the plot. there's so much going on (or stuff that WILL be going on) I'm starting to lose track.

I'm curious about Danzou's arm, although Madara's gonna whoop him.

that is what I brought up earlier in an eariler thread death could really put the nail in the coffin for it will show that has no more feelings towards his friends and that darkness is what he wants. Also someone here or another site brought up the shattering of the picture of squad 7 i think that is showing that is finally excepting the choice that must be stopped.

i thought that chapter was awesome, i found it really interesting to find out that sakura still loved sasuke and the fact that she also loved naruto. as well as going so far to kill sasuke knowing that might make naruto hate her for it, just to make it up to him for helping her so many times. Besides that i liked the convo between gaara and naruto. Gaara telling naruto straight up if he wanted to be hokage he had to make a final descion on sasuke. And i think we all know what he meant.

nice chapter . But im getting a little odd feeling : if naruto becomes hokage , then the manga is over because this is what the manga is about . Its a little bit to early for naruto to become hokage , the manga should continue like 2-3 years till chapter 600 or 700 to end ... i think . Anyways here's my prediction : Naruto is amazed by Gara's offer and says hes not ready for becoming hokage . A 3-4 pages discussion about hokage thing then naruto decides to stop sakura from suiciding ( hope he will not succeed ) . Chapter 475 ends with Naruto going to save Sakura with kakashi and gara after him . I don't think that " being ready to become a kage" means to take so harsh decisions , i read all youre comments and i have to work on my english a little bit more ... sorry about it .

Awsome Chapter!:-D As we all know (apparently), Kisame is dead. So please stop crying about him already. Like Itachi, just face the fact that he´s dead. There´s not going to be any "come back from the dead" plot unless It was a "human clone" (or something like that) the whole time.

1: Like all the other Akatsuki members he died after losing his Akatsuki - cape.
And as it seems, It has become Akatsuki´s death sign.-They´re going to die if they lose their cape in a fight, in other word,-to die without the cape.
None of the Akatsuki members have survied after losing their capes(and yes. When Deidara faked his death he had his cape on). If not, Kisame will be the first one (just look naruto wiki up)
2: If you have read 473 on more than one site, (in other word, another place than Narutobase) like onemanga, you would have seen in their transelation that kisame used something like shark bullet tech. instead of a water clone tech. as some here likes to think.

But enough about that. I think there´s not going to be any serious fight between Danzou and Madara, only talking about Madara´s plan (since Donzou missed the whole New moon´s eye plan) and show offs.
Furthermore I think that Naruto and Sai (clone?:-P) are going to follow Sakura while Kakashi and Yamato heads back to the village to fix the Hokage question so that Kakashi becomes Hokage before Donzou returns. What Gaara desides to do... I have no ide.
Juugo and Sugitsuge are either going to: be captured, escape, surrender, or get their asses kicked by Tsushikage (resulting in their deaths. Seriously, do we even have any reasons at all to keep them alive?) because he´s the only kage left at the submit (correct me if I´m wrong). We might even see Sasuke and Karin.
Last but not least, I think that Akatsuki got killed of way to quickly, meaning that Madara have to have something up his sleave, like a group far more superior than Akatsuki hidden, like the nummer 1 of the seven swordsmen and 4 other supreme ninjas (half as many as Akatsuki, twice as good). I think Madara will meet up with Zetsu and Sasuke in 476 and deside upon bringing in the new group, since zetsu confirms that Kisame died in the fight (Wow, Zetsu will have to eat sushi if that´s the case. Zetsu eats the dead Akatsuki corpses remember?), or someting like that and that they are to few to capture Killerbee and Naruto.

Can´t wait to the next chapter, and btw I´m new here on Narutobase, so i felt like writing all of my thoughts down in one go, and i must also say that narutobase rocks!;-D

You have a point, but i have to disagre on the fact that Naruto ends with Naruto becoming Hokage. I think that we will have a time jump soon and when we come back (like the original Naruto to Shippuden) Naruto has becomed Hokage and we get to see some flashbacks later on, on how he became it.
I belive that we will have a vs or vs Madara when Naruto has becomed hokage like when Madara fought with Senju (the first hokage) after he became hokage at the valley of the end and that, that will end the show.:D

I like this chapter overall, but I felt like it didn't tell us much that we didn't already know. I'm eager to see what develops between Danzo and Madara. I think Danzo and Root might join Madara for some reason. Danzo and Madara have obviously met before. I want to know exactly what the relation between these two is.

First of all, a few people said that this chapter was bad because there was no action. Well the past few chapters have been primarily the fight between Kisame and KB and that other fight as well. This is the first in a while to just have talking, which is important because it is how the plot moves on. The fighting is cool, but not much without a good storyline. I don't think that Naruto will go after Sakura because the war that started was the war for the protection of KB and Naruto. Therefore, I don't think they would just go off. It would kinda be stupid or dangerous to risk the ninja world for Sakura if he ended up being caught.

Also, I don't know how good the fight between Madara and Danzo will be. Madara is weak. I think he even said it. His main ability is not being able to get beaten or captured. He has no offense, at least to our knowledge. Maybe Danzo will team up with Madara, but I dunno.

Also, one question. Is Kakashi already Hokage or is he going to become Hokage?

One dosen´t become Hokage before all the jounins in the village agree upon that fact as Kakashi/Yamato said awhile back, so no not yet.
It´s the same with Donzou, he´s just acting as the 6.th Hokage as for now.

Yes, I agree with you. As for Madara being weak, we really aren't sure. He has said that his battle with the first Hokage left him severely debilitated or something to that effect. As you said, he has no offense to our knowledge.

I guess Kakashi is the acting sixth Hokage since he can't be the official Hokage without consent of all the jounins (as has been said by others). That's pretty awesome though. I was hoping Kakashi would become Hokage even if he didn't want to be.

So, I like how it shows how Naruto's hold on Sasuke has been a bit selfish and has grown even more so in the long run. First we saw Sakura and how she felt her hold on him was selfish and now it was Naruto's turn. Kishi never writes anything or draws anything unless it has a purpose. Everything is foreshadowed and we are seeing as all the lose ends are tying into a knot.

Naruto is going after Sakura but for what reasons? To stop Sakura from trying to kill Sasuke or to help her?

I love Sakura's character but I know that Sasuke is very strong and in a very dark spot. People really need to take her character seriously because Kishi has an important role for her. Her words mean a lot when it comes to Sasuke. She was the only one who could pull him out of Orochimaru's darkness. His memory of her has not been tainted. Not yet at least. I'm not saying that Sakura is going to pull him out of this darkness - I don't know what could. Maybe in death...Anways, no matter how much some of you don't want to admit, Sasuke always held Sakura dear, as he did Naruto. They were the closest he had to family, as well as Kakashi.

Anyways, please don't flame too much. ^^
