    Naruto Politics!~

Alright so I had a very random thought, and possibly a question asked before, but I figured I'd ask anyway, just to get some opinions from other people. xP

So I was thinking; "Is the great shinobi villages of the Naruto-verse run in the form of a Monarchy, or a Democracy?" -- They call them; "Lord Hokage" , "Lord Mizukage" , "Lord Kazekage" , and so on. They are titled 'Lords', but in some cases they act as if they are fair to the village in the sense of a democracy. Yet they are treated as if they are treated and regarded as if they are Kings and Queens. So how does their 'political standing' work?

They are dictatorial though they are elected democratically by Jounin.

A Hokage is like their king, but they treat them well so both.

Hokage is like a president. They can do some stuff, but it needs to be passed by 'congress' to be accepted.

The Kages are very similar to the Supreme Court jodges of the U.S.A...They are appointed but once they have been elected they stay in that position for life or as long as they want to be...For intense, Sarutobi retired and left Minato....However, all the other hokage stood until they died. Their political position is like a president yet they are under the Feudal Lords....For instance, Tsunade reports and obey the Fire Feudal Lord....Another example could be this....The Feudal Lords are like kings and the Hokage are like the administrators of the village which are the capital of the country....The Kage are called Lords as a sign of respect not because they are old or something as Garaa is the same age of Naruto and yet he is called "Lord Kazekage." I hope my interpretation help let me know if you guys agree with me....
