    Help me with my running

    Hey guys.i am 14, I started going to the gym for 2 reason, to get some muscle and to run faster.I have a 4 pack and im not fat at all i am actually fairly hench (i do taekwondo).I can do 100 meter in 12 second, and in my school we have a sports day coming up in 5 and a half weeks and i am really really determined to win it.I need to get better because i have really good competitors, what do you recommend i do in the gym.I already do treadmill, stairs, weights ect is there special diet or thing i could do that would make me faster quick? Thanks

    Just wanted to say: Make sure you are not overdoing it .... If you are fully developed, then go crazy. But causing a large strain on a developing body can have adverse effects in the future.

    To become a QUICK runner you need muscles. Both on torso and as well legs. You need to run like crazy whole time and train up the speed.

    As well there some tips saying that if you use your arm as well you will actually 'pull' your self a bit forward as well while running. So it's not only about training it's about tactic, try google or something to find some tactics for it.

    Still 14 years and building on a Gym is defiantly not recommended to use way heavy stuffs since your body is still 'developing'. But that's your choice. Still it a risk that you get hell of a pain in the future that won't go away. So I hope that you're careful

    1 huge tip: Run atleast an hour a day with a long sleeve tight shirt, a garbage bag formed into a shirt over it, a tanktop to tighten the garbage bag, and then a sweater over it. Your back and belly will be burning after 30 minutes of running, and after an hour you'll be soaking in your own sweat. Best cardio tip I can give you. Oh, and don't drink soda. Make drinking water a habit. I'm also working on my physique atm Also have a 4pack as of last week, hoping to gain that 6pack in 2 weeks or so

    Oh, and I run outside only. In the woods. And I use music as a doping. I get in a trance and forget I'm running only to wake up 15 minutes later. But I don't really get tired as I'm not hearing my breath cuz of the music.

    do the tread mill and weights. Lift weights but not too much and run a lot to improve your speed. Eat a lot but more healthy than fats. Avoid smoking or drinking if you do those.

    Yeah don't push yourself too hard. And my friends who do sprinting, they told me just keep at it. Go to the track and tell yourself to run faster and faster every time. You just gotta keep doing it, there's no trick. Just effort + time

    Take my tip seriously and you'll get ripped in notime. This is what you'll get after a 50 minute run carrying a garbage bag as a t-shirt. Soaking wet afterwards.
