I guess I can inform you since you seem a bit interested on this subject. The symbol on Neji's forehead is called a manji. There are are two kinds of manji, the omote and ura. The omote commonly represents infinite compassion and mercy, infinite love and sustenance of all things. The ura represents reason and force. The manji that Neji has on this forehead is the omote. The "swaztika" is the ura manji at a 45 degree angle. The manji itself represents universal harmony, and the balance of opposites.

If Sasuke indeed wanted to use Kirin he would have had to go through all of these steps in order to complete with its requirements. What he was going to use against his former han (team) didn't at all seem like Kirin but something else nor do I believe it would have been done to kill them but in my opinion rather to further stop them from coming after him and as a message that says "don't look for me any longer" as he cut all bonds thus ending any involvement from them. You can't say that he wanted to kill them then as fact when that wasn't ever confirmed. Especially how I just depicted a possible solution to that situation.

What we have here is Sasuke remembering his former han in his new han which obviously meant that he might have cut all bonds but the feelings still lingered no matter how small they might have been. look i just said what i saw in the manga he was about to use a lighting tech and was stopped by Oro. So thats why i said that he doesn't care for his teammates. we don know what he was going to use so even u cant say for sure that he was not going to kill them. Naruto has power, yes, but he still needs to learn control, strategy, style, and new techniques. Weaker ninja can still have valuable lessons for him.

Quick ponderance: We've seen the Rinnegan twice: Once from the great sage and once in Nagato.

Both were brought up in times of war and extreme personal stress. Kakashi suggests that the Rinnegan is some sort of randomly-occurring mutation. We've also seen that the sharingan appears in an Uchiha after experiencing stress.

Well what if the Rinnegan is a more extreme form of that? What if the Rinnegan appears in people who are experiencing EXTREME distress?

Madara said he wants to synchronize Sasuke with the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path. However, the only other person that we've seen work with that statue was Pain/Nagato.

Sasuke seems to be following a similar path guided by Madara. We've already seen in his battle with Danzou so far that his powers are increased by his hatred and his anger. There are plenty of things that are going to make Sasuke more angry:

1) Danzou's body is made of the disembodied parts of Sasuke's family and friends. We don't know whose sharingans Danzou stole, but I think when Danzou tells him whose eyes they are Sasuke will be PISSED (Imagine if Sasuke's father's eye is on the palm of his fap hand )
2) Sakura is going to fight and try to kill Sasuke. We know Sasuke still has a soft spot for his old team 7, even if he hides it. This is really going to stress him out.
3) Finally having to hunt Naruto down for the nine-tailed fox. This will be stressfull too.
4) I'm sure he'll have to fight Kakashi at some point too, especially if Sasuke goes after Naruto and Kakashi becomes Hokage.
5) If Karin or other Taka members get killed by Danzou or other enemies, he will be extremely upset.

All these things combine together, Sasuke could have the kind of meltdown that will lead him to gain the Rinnegan. This would enable him to control the statue to seal the additional tailed beasts.

Now that Sasuke's sharingan are almost completely powered up and he has no other good way of gaining more power (training? discipline? patience? Hell no), Madara directing him to unlock the rinnegan would be the next step for him.

i dont think a Uchiha or a Hyuuga who already has a special eye will ever have the Rinnegan. If what u r saying is correct then Madara or Itachi would have gotten the Rinnegan by now but thats not the case.

sasuke will not get a rinnegan. the sharigan and hyuuga are what happens when the sage of the six path breeds. they are lesser forms
1- rinnegan
2- sharigan
3- hyuuga
We have only seen what the rinnegan can do when using puppets. the only thing the manga has shown is 1 move by the original rinnegan and that was bringing everyone back to life that he killed.
I think the sage of the 6 paths was stronger than nagato. i bet his staff is the same black rod nagato used.

did anyone else notice in the anime that the move that ripped out sasukes neck and orgins and would of killed him was the same move that killed shark guy when he dies fighting the 8tails in the manga.

well read the spoiler and it said that Izanagi enables the user to turn the attack or even death into a vision of dream. Its the ultimate genjutsu however the eye will not open again and there is a 60 sec time gap. Hmm now i wonder who is going to win, i guess Danzou will kill Karin

I don't think so, I think it's a misinterpretation of a rough translation. I think Danzou is also after Naruto like Madara is after Naruto. It's all about the kyuubi, Naruto doesn't have anything special to offer.

A couple people have said "definitely not" to my idea about Sasuke getting the Rinnegan eventually. But those ideas only seem to come from people not believing that a person with one special eye cannot have another one. This seems like a strange assumption to make with no evidence.

If the Rinnegan is a mutation, like Kakashi suggests, couldn't the eyes of a sharingan user mutate to become Rinnegan? Maybe it would be a smaller mutation since the sharingan already is genetically similar. Nagato's DNA or eyes could be inserted into Sasuke using techniques that other Akatsuki members have already perfected. If Madara is so old, maybe he can get access to the actual DNA of the sage of the Six Paths, and give that to Sasuke. Maybe Pain's Rinnegan could be transplanted into Sasuke's arm, like sharingan were transplanted into Danzou's. There are lots of possibilities here, I don't know why anybody would say it's impossible. (Unlikely, yes. Impossible, no).

We have only seen the statue of the outer path be controlled by Pain, a Rinnegan user. We have seen Madara say he wanted to "synchonize" Sasuke with that statue. What else could he mean? How else do they control the statue without the Rinnegan? I'm sure a statue like that doesn't come with an instruction manual and an easy control interface.

I just read the spoiler too. I won't give anything away here just yet, but I will say that my prediction was wrong. At least, the things I suggest (Danzou running away, Sakura finding them and interrupting the fight) didn't happen this week. I have high hopes for next week.

No matter what happens this week, I still suggest that Danzou has too many long-term plans in place, he won't fight Sasuke to the death right now. If he has all the tools he needs to control the Kyuubi, he must intend to do it. He won't give everything up just to enter into a pissing content with Sasuke.

Sasuke likewise has been through some severe stress (death of his entire family, death of his brother, finding out he killed his brother unnecessarily, need to now attack his former village and all his friends, etc).

Itachi was under stress but under different circumstances. Itachi was trying to protect his village and started to view his own people as the enemy of peace. Itachi willfully did his duty to protect his people and succeeded. It was stressful, but a different kind of stress.

You're right, it would be awesome if Naruto ended up with the Rinnegan.

When Nagato got the Rinnegan he blacked out, when he woke up later he had killed some ninja. Last time we saw Naruto he was under extreme stress and had blacked out. Maybe when he wakes up he'll have Rinnegan?

I have a lot of doubts, but it is fun to think about.

No offense bro but how can you claim that Sasuke was about to you use a lightning tech on Naruto and co. when we didn't even see the completion of the jutsu? Since Orochimaru stopped Sasuke from using it we cannot say it is a lightning jutsu as a fact. You have also said that Sasuke stated he was gay to Suigetsu and Juugo? If you cannot post the link with the page to prove this no one will believe this accusation.
