pain vs danzo

I voted Pain which is the no brainer, Pain is the strongest and I don't think anyone would disagree. If it wasn't for my main man Naruto being the main character and Pain having to capture him I am sorry to say but he would have been killed. Danzo is redunculous strong and yeah I said it right redunculous but he cannot and I mean cannot defeat Pain I mean who the hell could beat what he is? Pain is way to powerful and that is why he had to die after his battle with Naruto because him being on the good guys team would mean no soup for Madara and Sasuke's plot to bring darkness into the world. Pain kills and dismantles, and murders, and annihilates, and destroys and extinguishes any and all who opposse him he with no limits such as capture alive is more than anyone could ever hope of defeating why do you think Madara wanted him he is just the nastiest ninja in the manga

Imagine Deva Path blocking everything with Shinra Tensei and throwing him around, Hungry Ghost Path absorbing anything that slips past Deva, Human Path trying to get a hold of him to suck out his soul, Animal Path spamming summons that are running around trying to trample him, Asura Path chasing him around trying to cut him and shooting missiles at him, and Naraka Path sitting back to resurrect any that might get damaged in the fray. No one can survive an onslaught like that even if they new the abilities of every body.

Danzou is an old sack of worthless. Kishi has a thing for killing off old people. 'The Youth bringing a new age,' is a recurrent theme in the series. In fact, has a younger person ever lost (killed by) to an older one? I am sure there has been at least one case, but I cannot think of it off the top of my head.
But, yeah. Pain is kind of in his own league. If he had all six paths trained on one target... Lights out.

Oh I agree that Pain would win, but you are talking as though Danzo would let them just do all of that. The amount of Chakra that would cost to do an onslaught like that could put Danzo on top if he uses Izanagi right.

Danzo may waste three bodies. Maybe four at tops. The Six Paths of Pain have more stamina than Danzo.

Pain could use his own summons to fight Danzo's summon, he could outlast Pain and continue crushing him, mokuton won't do anything to hinder him. Most ninja could avoid mokuton and Danzo has only used it defensively so far. Hungry Ghost Pain would absorb it and the fuuton anyway.

I agree that Danzo could have made a difference. He's no one to be underestimated but 1on1 he's not on Pain's level.

Thats not true. The "body" actually does get hit by the attack and it dies. But then the user is allowed to be "reborn" in a way. Meaning its not like the body is an illusion while the real body is elsewhere, but instead the real body IS the illusion.

izanagi wont work, against rinnegan. Gado Mazo or pain himself can rip danzos soul.
And any of danzo attacks will be absorbed by fat pain. Dont forget Pain can control all five elements. He was able to put up equal fight against Sage Naruto's speed and super strength. What will Vaccum do if Chibaku Tensei is cast.
And Itachi is equal to pain not stronger.
