Madara said that Itachi valued Sasuke's life more than Konoha. I don't know how someone who can kill his parents best friends relatives his lover but can't kill his brother. I know that Itachi might have though of Sasuke as his own son but it doesn't make sense. Itachi killed almost all the Uchiha because he knew it Uchiha's actions could trigger a Fourth Ninja War and thus killing many innocent people. So I can also understand letting Sasuke go alive but he did the wrong thing by telling Sasuke that he was the one who killed all of them and giving revenge as his motivation. Itachi could have just disappeared as if he was also killed or do something else but his action of giving Sasuke revenge as motivation backfired big time. Itachi must have realized that Sasuke will not do as he planned when Sasuke joined Orochimaru that's why he gave Naruto a power and also said that Sasuke is still pure. He also implanted Amaterasu so that if Madara's sharingan looks at Sasuke it would activate automatically. So he also predicted that Madara might go after Sasuke so Itachi should have killed Madara when he had the chance but maybe Madara was stronger than him. Anyway just looking into Itachi's actions I like his character sacrificing his life for peace but he made one BIG mistake and that could ultimately destroy peace

He also told Sasuke to run and cling to life until the time was right to face him. Like I mentioned before, there is no way Itachi could foresee the events that would take place like the interference from Oro or Danzo attempting to take over and have Sasuke killed. He adjusted for these events by doing things like making an appearance in Konoha and giving this 'power' to Naruto.

wow, you can't copy an eye tech, or Kakashi could have the rinnegan and byakugan too. I think he just trained and was able to unlock the MS because he saw Obito/someone close to him die. And don't say that you have to kill the person yourself, cuz Madara clearly stated to Sasuke that Itachi brought out and killed Oro for 2 reasons. 1. kill the curse mark 2. to witness the death of someone close to him to give Sasuke the MS! So Kakashi probably just had a harder time unlocking it cuz he isn't an Uchiha

But Obito died like 10-15 years ago. You think it took that long for the MS to awaken in Kakashi? And it "just so happens" that he could only use it AFTER he saw Itachi's? Come on man...that doesn't make sense. And where did Madara say that Itachi killed Oro to give Sauske the MS? That doesn't make any sense because Sauske killed Oro (or he thought he did) himself. So why didn't he get MS then? In terms of the Rinnegan and Byakugan, he can't copy those because those are bloodline capabilities, not techs. He can copy all of the Sharingan techs because he has one.

I'm positive that some of the things Madara said was a lie. The problem is that there are only a few people who can tell us the truth. The "missing" truth will probably come out when Sasuke goes after the elders of Konoha. I still believe there is plenty of history between Madara and Danzo we aren't aware of yet.

I'm sure most of what Madara told Sauske is a lie. He told him he wasn't the one who summoned the 9-tails, but it's pretty clear he was.

Both Danzo and Karin fall to the floor, each struggling for breath.
Sasuke walks over to Karin and picks her by the neck.
Sasuke: Thank-you Karin, you were able to distract Danzo for me, now I just need 1 more favor.
*Sasuke sucks out Karin's last bit of chakra to finish healin his wounds*
Madara: A bit cruel don't you think?
Sasuke: I only made Taka to complete my goals, she did what she had to do, I dont care about their existence.

Madara: You overused your mangekyou sharingan in this battle, your going to go blind soon at this rate. Itachi wasn't as stubborn as you.

I haven't seen it in the threads but did anyone notice how Danzou thought he was the one who was supposed to bring change to the Ninja world? Seeing as he was about to die when he said it, I'm sure he really believed he was the "Chosen One"

I noticed that after you mentioned it, but his change is the same kind of change Madara wants. They want to rule the world by controlling all the people in it. The history of all the Ninja clans is basically to conquer one another so the change they seek is to completely conquer all until they have control over all through power or fear.

The only exceptions to this seems to be Shodaime and Naruto, who believe they can create change through peace. I think this is the lesson Naruto will end up teaching Sasuke and probably the rest of the Ninja world.

Anyway. When i saw that it was the real Danzo getting stabbed, i thought: "No, he cannot die:confused: At least not yet. He still got more to do, more to reveal!" But after his talk about protecting Konoha and supposely getting his heart pirced, i kinda got the fealing that he has already done what he needed to do. I mean, there isn`t much more he can do other than revealing stuff and "taking" Naruto.
Maybe his time was up after all. At least he died nobly.
I didn`t feal like there was any reason for him to survive. I mean. His death somewhat reminds me of Sarutobi`s death. At least he seemed like a good guy in the end.

Can`t wait until today or Thursday!:D

I never expected Danzo to be an amazingly important character after the Kage summit. We saw his motivations and all of the mystery that made him an important character vanished after he put himself in plain sight. Beforehand, he seemed to be the person always in control, always thinking multiple steps ahead, knowing his opponents move before they did. Considering that's not who he turned out to be, I'm fine with Kishi taking him out of the story. There are too many throw a way characters in the series now as it is.

True, but on the same coin, I don't think I could really call Danzou a hero either. From what I can see, we have two groups with different goals and means to achieve them. Sasuke at this point is a pawn, Madara is the true mastermind, so I have no trouble seeing them as a villain.

Danzou, however, is a different situation. Yes, he wants to 'Protect the Leaf' as he has said, but even then, I still question that motive. Personally, I don't think the ends justify the means. He intends to kill anyone that gets in his way; that is a mistake that causes repercussions.

If we look at things more closely, we can see that really almost all of the bad things that have happened over the series history (Besides Orochimaru, but we still don't know the full story behind that, so it's still possible) are because of Danzo. Part of the reason Nagato became Pain is because Danzo assisted in capturing his group and killing his friend. Had that not happened, he may not have joined Akatsuki and Madara would not have had Gedo Mazo in his possession to obtain the tailed beasts. If he hadn't also ordered Itachi to kill the Uchiha, we wouldn't have had the whole Sasuke fiasco (I won't delve to deep into that, because the Uchiha were going to take over the village and I have no idea where that would've gone).

Danzo has a skewed view of what must be done to achieve peace and instead of bringing peace, he ended up bringing on worse calamities.

I mention it before and I will do it again: Neji needs to have an important battle in Shippuden, he hasnt done anything since he fought himself and it was a lame battle. he is important character because
1). He has baykugan and as we know, byakugan and sharingan related.
2). He is an example of Naruto's mysterious power because as we recall Neji has been saved from darkness by Naruto.
So I am very upset that he is like forgotten character.

I miss him too...I think if you give Byakugan user enough time to observe MS...Byakugan user can find a way to beat MS...success rate will increase with decent teammates...
