I think he didnt kill her for a few reasons:

1. he needs her chakra to heal him after bad fights
2. he needs her to sence where his enermies are
3. he told her to stay still which wouldnt matter if he was going to kill her anyway
4. he used ms for something right before he used chidori


It just wudnt make sence for him to kill her IMO

I somewhat think she is alive, but to contradict number 3...
He could have told her not to move so he could kill Danzo. If she moved, so would his vital organs.

I know this is a long shot... but Sasuke used the MS right before he used the chidori blade to hit danzou and karin at the end of 480. However he doesnt need to use the MS to use chidori. so why use it (especially putting more risk on his eye sight).

We know kakashi can use ms to use space time jutsu and open up a portal to another dimension. We also know madara/tobi's space time jutsu can make all attacks go through him. What if the reason sasuke used MS was to use some sort of space time jutsu to make is attack go through karin.

As i said i know its a long shot, (would even be another super powerup for sasuke), but i don't see why he had to use his MS for his chidori blade.

i think your theory... fail. why he would say dont move? he would just be mute and do the thing, he probably tried to not hit any of her vital chakra spot or whatever...

if she did die, then we gonna have a Naruto version of Brokeback mountain, staring: Sasuke and Jugo.

She ain't dead I see no reason to kill her she helps him out a lot and the proportion of Dazons heart is near Karin's shoulder he wounded her but she ain't dead. That still was a low blow Danzo was half dead and Sasuke could have used something else, that was mean.

A crazy possibility:

Sasuke asked Karin to remain quiet so he could use MS, and make DAnzou believe he hit him and Karin.

So we are actually seeing what Danzou sees and it is not the truth.

What for? To take advantage of Danzou's confusion, release Karin and really attack him.

I hope this would be the truth, but I honestly think he killed Karin.

chapter title doesn't have to make sense ie. Naruto 363 page 01 | One Manga(the death of sasuke) however, the whole burst of evilness that occured right before he used his attack leads me to believe she is dead along with danzo

I think sasuke reached the point of no return at the 5 kage meeting. Right before his fight against the Raikage he killed one of the samurai, even after suigetsu told him not to. Up until this point Sasuke had never killed an innocent person.

sasuke had probably been prepared, or have made a step to prevent this kind of a situation before it actually happened. He may have mistaken the course of his life, but he had never been the one to hurt his team mates, while on a mission or whatever, even after him leaving Konoha. We can see that in his fight with Killer Bee...
