Not sure if this has been thought of already, but doesn't the gedo mazo thing that pain summons seem like a very nice fit for the body of the juubi? When it appears during this flashback we see it with a bandage over the eyes... or eye
seen here:

And also all those things sticking out of its back, could those be the roots of tails? That might be a bit of a stretch because the shadow that we saw of the juubi

seems to show them all protruding from a common point, but i can't tell for sure by just looking at the shadow outline.

but yeah, it does look kinda cool O_o but i dont think theres a logical reason for it to look like the juubi, unless gedo mazo is a bloodline technique that was passed down from the rikoudo sennin....cause i dont believe nagato knew about the 10 tailed at that time of age and end up creating a jutsu that replicated the beast itself..

it's look pretty different if you ask me. plus it's hard to believe that nagato had summon the juubi so easily, and i don't think he knew about the juubi.
and one more thing, how the amekage could stand against the juubi? i don't think it's the juubi.

He can bring corpse that haven't decayed yet back this COULD be true for Juubi as it is in space. But I don't think thats Jubi it'd still have its eye.
