Only in America: Dogs > Cops

Only in America are animals higher then cops =]

Cop shoots a dog for self-defense. People want the cop to get fired and kicked out, and have no job to support his family. While the idiotic owner who coincidentally left the right window open for the dog to see what was going on doesn't get any blame.

Only in America people, are the protectors of the people, worth nothing more then animals. Only in America.

Yes sir, the owner is the smart guy right? And the cop is the dumb guy for coming to the defense of his fellow cops.. Sorry but the guy tried to calm down the dog.

As I said, and you proved.. Only in America are dogs treated higher then cops.

He invoked the attack from the dog. Plus it was an illegal arrest, did you not read that? If they hadn't illegally arrested him, this whole situation would have been avoided.

I actually agree with this post hashirama. People in America value their pets too much but at the same time animal control should of been alerted of whats going on not everyday policemen.

And if the dude wasn't there recording and making the cops angry who had been working their asses off to capture the people from the robbery this wouln't have happened.

As usual Media makes the cops look like the bad guys. No wonder L.A is ran by gangs. And hell most of california.

And your telling me the guy automatically knew he was going to be arrested? lmao.

They would've never reached in time. The dog would've been done with the officer by the time. The cops have it tougher then lil kids bro.

Why didn't they let the guy go so he can calm the dog down himself? They approached it which was a dumb move plus all those bullets were unnecessary.. Come on I've been attacked by a pit bull and Rotweiler once but all I had to do is stand my ground and make myself look intimidating and they backed off.. I wouldn't try to touch or approach it.

    I'm not American, so yh..
And his action was just paranoid. Anyone with even a little knowledge on dog's behaviours know that that dog was just trying to check up on his human without much aggressiveness. That cop should've been able to handle this in a more humane manner. Those donut fed lardasses are too hasty to use their gun.

Dude, have some common sense. The cop had no right to walk up on that man and arrest him. If they would have done their jobs right, this wouldn't have happened.

Those cops are complete and utter trash. If anything, the dog should of attacked one of them.

The civilian was just curious about there police work.

Was he a dog specialist? no. Was he a human? yes. I would've done the same.. I'm not trippin...

I see full aggressiveness in the dog.... The cops aren't trained to deal with animals. The public should have knowledge on when to make a video and when not to. But as usual the public is making a video so they can catch a mistake from a cop and put it on youtube.

"donut fed". Please don't insult my protectors. If your not gonna respect them don't insult them period.

utter trash? They just arrested robbers. And got the stuff back for a family.. your calling them utter trash, because they killed a dog for self-defense?

THEY AREN'T THERE TO HANDLE DOGS. ok? The third officer did simply what anyone else would've done in that position.. notice the dog went at the police officer once he backedoff.

I suggest you gain more information on how animals work.

Also people have the right to film in America.. it was a dumb reason to approach the guy and put him in handcuffs. They also said he was resisting? What resisting? I didn't see any of it

First of all it depends on the training of the dog and the type of the dog(German Shepard etc).
I can't really say that I agree or disagree, but if it was in self-defense the its probable that it was justified.

Anyway,I agree with you that in America, animals do seem to get more significance than the humans.

Obviously, I'm referring to the power-abusive and ignorant cops which is a small portion of all officers on duty in the u.s.

"Full agressiveness"? No. Study it's approach towards the cops. You've never owned a dog, have you?

Sorry dude the guy was arrested for having his music out aloud when he drove there.. and then started recording. And then he had some talk with the cops.. He was arrested for recording.. so don't know where yougot that from.

And him trying to get closer to the dog when the officer was trying to get the dog to calm down, counts as resisting. Learn how police stuff works and the sh*t they go through, from the public's idioticness. And then talk about whose fault it is.

Which proves my point. That they aren't there to look after the dog. To cops Humans > Dogs.

Are cops also suppose to train on how to interact with rats? or ants? or lions?

You should drop the humans > animals mentality.
