the juubi fires a tailed beast bomb or something more devastating. But it didnot hit. Then there was some part where a guy stated something about some hyuuga deflected it. Can anyone explain what actually happened.

Im pretty sure it has something to do with the Rinnegan and Sharingan somewhat originating from the Byakugan. Maybe the hyuga clan are able to confuse the uchihas with a technique or something similar

I though Ino used mind transfer with the Hyugas help(how?) to control Obito and change the blast direction. Ino states they broke out of it in 2 seconds.

I will have to reexamine more later to be completely sure.

They helped the yamanakas aim their shitenshin jutsu with their eyes. They couldnt possibly hit a target from that far with a jutsu that only moves in a straight line.

Yea I heard Neji used his Kaiten, to deflect the Juubi's Biju Dama on his own.

Wasn't it Ino that took control for 2 seconds and turned the aim a bit? And she had help from byakugan to use her mind transfer jutsu over that long range.
