This is nuts how can Sasuke still use Susanoo and he also got another power up. The Susanoo was upgraded again:confused: we may see it upgrade to a point where it is even bigger than the tailed beasts. And Sakura is just pathetic almost getting killed by a 99% blind Sasuke. She is the real burden I was cheering for Sasuke to kill her.

My prediction is that Madara will show up in the next chapter and take sasuke with him. Then there will be time interval in which sasuke can attain the EMS (though it shud work as soon as sasuke gets itachi eyes but i have a feeling that there will be a period a month or so in which sasuke can have the full power; dont know how). Naruto will train further to fight sasuke after that and then there will be the final epic battle

Did Sasuke ever say why he wouldn't take Itachi's eyes? Kakashi took Obito's eye reverently and feels that it's Obito seeing for him. Sasuke should feel the same way.

true but i think kishi made a mention about it when madara asked sskue to take itachi eyes saskue said he doesn't see the world the sameway so unlike kakashi and obitio i believe saskue knew itachi wanted peace so why use his eyes to do the opposite of what your brother wanted. just my guess.

Kakashi says this had to happened right after i used my Mangekyõ..
He was already out of alot of chakra just by using one technique..
If it wasn't for Naruto, Sakura would have died.. Naruto still got a scratch in his face..

i highly doubt he is out of chakra from that. its just the after effects of the MS.
you should have noticed by now that when someone uses it, it damn well hurts.

I think that was just Naruto's speed in Sage mode. It enhances his speed and strength by a magnitude.

This chapter is really great. But not that surprising. Based on the predictions you did guys, it almost took the whole chapter. I'm pretty amazed how naruto saved Sakura & those eyes of naruto, I think he's mad. How I wish Sage mode will appear again. Kakashi, please stay in there. It would be a LOOOOONG talk for sure, between these guys.

A good chapter, but not as epicly charged and full of twists as the last few. What happened in this chapter was pretty much expected, and I see it as a building block for later chapters to be absolutely insane.

I quite liked the Naruto flashbacks. I think we saw a little more of Itachi and Naruto's conversation than we had seen previously. Kinda funny how everyone has been telling him the same things and he's only just realized it.

Like I predicted last chapter, Naruto had an epic last page arrival on the scene. And of course...he saved Sakura. Just like Kakashi saved her last chapter. I know she is dealing with a lot, and it can't be easy for her to fight the man she loves like this, but come on, a bit of female pride would be nice. She was so close too!

I liked the Sakura/Karin interaction in this chapter too. I knew Karin was an awesome character!

I had hoped the Sasuke/Kakashi battle would be a bit more intense, but I pretty much expected it wouldn't last long. The reunion of the entirety of Team 7 was far more important. I can't wait to see what Naruto decides...I think, based on what others have said to him, the shattering of Team 7's picture in his mind during his convo with Gaara, and the fact he just saved Sakura from being killed by Sasuke, he will decide that Sasuke can no longer be saved without death. I hope anyway. Otherwise he might really be an idiot.

I'm sad there wasn't a Yamato moment in this chapter. I want to see his reaction when he discovers that Naruto tricked him. I can hardly believe that Naruto made it all the way to the battle without Yamato coming after him. Isn't Yamato supposed to be an ANBU captain? I guess he's got his weak points.

Anyway, next chapter: Hopefully, a decision from Naruto, though it may not be so simple. A full fledged Team 7 reunion, with tears, fighting, blind Sasuke, etc. Probably be some long-winded discussion. Either in this chapter, or soon after, Itachi's gift to Naruto will be revealed. Sasuke will probably be saved by Madara or Zetsu or some other rando. And we can't forget about Karin.

Question: Has everything Itachi said to Sasuke been revealed? I know that he said the whole "This is the last time, Sasuke" deal, but wasn't there something else, that showed he was saying something, but didn't reveal everything? I can't remember.

hi, i'm sorry but don't completly agree with you. Yes itachi wanted peace, but he wanted peace for his brother, not to himself, and then if sasuke knew that itachi wanted peace he wouldn't go after revenge. When he killed danzo he said that's one down nii-saan, he was proud of himself and he wanted iachi to recognize that, so i think that if that's the point sasuke could accept his brother's eyes.

Yes, sasuke was able to broke another seal with his rage, i'm not sure if that's the ultimate susanoo or if exists more than that. And yes sasuke was always controlled by madara, who doesn't think that way or it's blind or it isn't thinking clearly. sasuke on the beggining was all like you're a liar i don't trust you but he did everything madara told him to do. Madara even told zetsu that sasuke was plan b if pain died. sasuke tries to be tuff by saying i'm not your partner you don't give me orders but then he does what madar told him lol.

yes, he could've just gotten faster but i was thinking that maybe he saved sakura while in sage mode but dropped out of sage mode before looking at sasuke in order to hide it from him. naruto was definitely traveling in sage mode to the fight so while in sage mode he'd know certain things about the currant situation. he'd know who's over there by their chakra and he'd know how low sasuke's chakra is. i think naruto has learned not to play all his cards in the first hand if he doesn't have to. knowing that sakura and kakashi are there and knowing that sasuke is running low he wouldn't have to show sage mode to sasuke just yet. why bring out the big guns right away when you can save them for a surprise later?

what itachi gave naruto could be that no techniques used from itachi's eye's will work on naruto. so when sasuke gets the EMS he will be super powerful(the most powerful character in the manga) but will be powerless against naruto.

Awesome chapter! After looking at how fast Sasuke's vision is deteriorating and how much stronger Susano is getting it is only a matter of time before Sasuke will need a second set of eyes in order to keep his vision. Probably Madara will talk Sasuke into it and transplant them into Sasuke, finally completing him and giving him a new edge in future fights.

Cool chapter, maybe the reason for Naruto not being in Sage mode is because he'll use Itachi's power which was given to him to stop Sasuke in some way.

The last page 5*, just looking at Sasuke and Naruto's eyes staring each other was epic.

Anyway, I'd love that Naruto finally arrives! Too sad, Kakashi's chakra is still drained by Kamui. Nevertheless, it's one of the best MS techs in the manga! How I wish Kakashi would be made stronger...

As for Sakura, what's new? Again, her arse is saved. Her jutsu skills never improved, IMO. It's pretty much still comparable (or worse, inferior) to Sasuke at a genin level. The only useful thing she does is to just stay in the background [and go to the kitchen lol]. On a serious note, her medical ninjutsu's the only thing in the works. PFF! I think Kishi's downplaying kunoichis.

IKR! Oh well, I'm half-expecting it. He's been gaining tons of powerups lately amidst battles. OTOH, good thing he finally got past the demarcation line, as he's blind already.

All I know is Itachi's more of a pacifist. Itachi wanted peace in GENERAL, particularly in his village. He throve amidst witnessing the third great shinobi war, which really molded such personality. And, as we all know, Itachi's allegiance to Konoha is unbreakable Even when he joined the Akatsuki, he's still thinking about the safety of the village. That's why Madara couldn't touch Konoha when he was still alive coz he forbid so. Yet more than anything, the most important person for him [insert incest here. lolol] is his younger brother, Sasuke.

Sasuke couldn't accept the eyes then, coz he wanted to start a WAR. He doesn't want to let Konoha go unscathed. He want the village destroyed. And, this pretty much against Itachi's dogma. I believe that's what Sasuke meant by saying they share different visions.

Nevertheless, Sasuke has no choice but to get a new pair of eyes, more likely Itachi's. Sasuke is soo mad and corrupted with vengeance and rancor right now that I don't think he would still mind about them having "opposing visions". Yes, i remember when sasuke used to keep some secrets in battle to surprise later, he used to do that when he was on konoha and with orochimaru but now he is just stupid, that's why he is almost blind, itachi rarely used ms, sasuke sees anyone, and says: I HATE YOU, MS, SUSANOO. this is just stupid, he could be a better ninja if wouldn't be so stupid.

i'm sorry but that's not a reasonable idea. first madara is using sasuke, so he doesn't care for what sasuke says, he just want sasuke to do what he wants, and for that he doesn't want him dead. why would he save sasuke from the kage meeting and now live him there. the only reason for madar not to show is if he doesn't know sasuke's condition. and second how do you think that sasuke can steal kakashi's eye? that's insane. for him to do that he has to kill naruto sakura and kakashi, how can he do that if he is almost blind? do you think that taking a eye from a person is like stealing a wallet? lol.

i liked this chapter a lot and i think Sakura coulda done better and actually faced her fears and be strong. nonetheless, she's still one of my fav characters so she passes. as for karin, i felt bad for her seeing as how she was suffering along with Sakura and when she cried bc sakura was crying. that was a touching scene imo. the naruto entrance was beast tho :B

Kishi is writting like a retard for Sasuke..

He does Sasuke look like a genius (intelect), thinking like Shikamaru pretty much against Deidara and also some awesome strategies against Itachi.
Then he puts him battling like a meat-head against KillerBee & the Kages..
He finally thinks a little bit against Danzõ despite the exagerated Mangekyõ over-use..
And once again he goes all out against Kakashi.. Sure Susano'o pretty much would end Kakashi but as we saw consequences were showed..

i agree with you for the most part, but i do believe sasuke's madman/gotta kill everyone - mentality is playin a major part in his recklessness.

i also believe (dont hate me sasuke haters lol) that sasuke is still savable and will be saved. this manga/anime is based on naruto and his ideals. naruto has been proving everyone wrong since day 1. everyone believe that sasuke is unsavable except for naruto, its only logical that sasuke will be saved. but i doubt he'll just stroll back to konoha and eat ramen wit naruto reminiscing abt the good ol days lol Kishi is either gonna kill sasuke (with sasuke dying 'honorably' somehow) or he's just gonna chnge his ways, but being how everyone hates him, he will never return to konoha and forever be a rehabilitated rogue ninja.
