so it ends with my main man naruto saving sakura and kakashi wouldve been owned im sorry to say if Sasuke encountered him at full power as he did danzou , and as for Naruto vs Sasuke there will be some words exchanged but i dont see a fight only because Sasuke has absolutely nothing left so whats naruto going to do ? it wouldnt be exciting to naruto just beat some sense into Sasuke for a few chapters . Anyway Kakashi is right behind Sasuke as it ends and starting next chapter he can chidori right through Sasuke or leave it up to Naruto.

As for Sasuke getting away if Madara interferes Naruto's going to go Sage Kage bunshin 3 tails kyuubi on him before he can even touch Sasuke to warp him out

hi, i'm sorry but don't completly agree with you. Yes itachi wanted peace, but he wanted peace for his brother, not to himself, and then if sasuke knew that itachi wanted peace he wouldn't go after revenge. When he killed danzo he said that's one down nii-saan, he was proud of himself and he wanted iachi to recognize that, so i think that if that's the point sasuke could accept his brother's eyes.

about the next episode i think its clear that we will know whats the answer of naruto and what will be the path that he'll chose.
sasuke wont fight against him on those conditions probably some talk but they'll be interrupted by madara and he'll sava sasuke.then sasuke will take itachi eyes and will achieve the eternal ms.meanwhile kakashi becomes hokage new members join akatsuki and the shinobi war will start.probably something like that :D

Very interesting Chapter! I wish Sakura had more guts, but I guess she didn't realize how hard it would be to kill her old "friend". It's important that the story developed like this to show the difference in mentalities between someone like Sakura and someone like Sasuke who kills blindly. It's similar to the difference in thinking between Naruto and Pein ... which forbodes a very interesting encounter next week! Will Naruto be able to change his point of view??

I don't think Sasuke's blind, I think he's just out of Chakra, you can't sustain a beast susano without a good reserve of Chakra.

Props to Naruto for saving Sakura like that, the cut on his cheek should be proof to him that Sasuke's heart has turned black and is bent on revenge, even if it means killing everyone else that had ever mattered to him. It's a subtle yet extremely important point that may confirm for Naruto what everyone else has been saying about Sasuke and who you should choose to be your real friends.

Discussion: This week’s chapter wasn’t anything big for me with the exception that my Sasuke’s insanity thread was correct.

Finally Sasuke has shown hard solid evidence of his insanity as he thought of the rookies at a young age supposedly laughing at Itachi’s expense can only show how deranged he has become.

The brief Sasuke/Kakashi fight has people with mixed feelings as I have observed. However, it is pretty simple as Sasuke shoots an arrow that Kakashi had to warp away with Kamui because it was too fast as he quoted. I’ve seen a couple people say that Kakashi outsmarted Sasuke by using Kamui and logically speaking if he hadn’t he would have been dead. I have seen many people say "Oh another Sasuke powerup" but powerup or not his Susanoo seems to have finally undergone the complete transformation unless his hatred was the reason but none the less I had a theory about this very situation. Just like Madara quoted how the Susano’o was a rarity seems as though any Uchiha can possess the potential to have all three of Itachi’s doujutsu and maybe only a few had successfully awakened Susano’o. For all we know there were Uchiha that had these three or one of the three in secret and because they were ambushed by Itachi/Madara which erased the possibility of defending. Madara might even have the three as well or one/two of them, who knows. Although, it is very apparent that Itachi did not pass on those three doujutsu and the proof is as follows. He implanted a one-shot Amaterasu to do away with Madara in case he was to meet with Sasuke to confess all that Itachi wanted concealed. What Itachi desired was to die at Sasuke’s hands and it didn’t exactly go his way as Sasuke was out of chakra/exhausted and had rather succumb to his illness. In doing so Sasuke would look like a hero in Konoha’s eyes and Sasuke could finally get on with his life. The Amaterasu was a failsafe so that Madara wouldn’t speak, why? If Sasuke knew the truth being the avenger his brother forced him to be he would find that all Itachi went through was unjustified and would seek revenge once again and Itachi intended for his vengeance to end with his death. However Madara unfortunately survives and tells Sasuke his tweaked version of the truth and Sasuke cracks even more so as seen below:

As if Sasuke hadn’t enough mental damage from Itachi’s two Tsukuyomi he has this truth and the realization is the beginning of how Sasuke spiraled into what he has become in current manga (a fact nobody either comes to realize for themselves or are simply haters and simply shove it off as he was sane and knew what he was doing the entire time). Well incorrect, here in this page Sasuke loses his a big part of himself due to Madara’s intervention/corruption. Sasuke has his doubts but it is confirmed when he questions Danzou. Also for any people who say that Sasuke is sane because he knew what he was doing are incorrect as Nagato/Danzou/Gaara/even Madara all snapped and as a result lost their conscience (or right from wrong for those who don’t understand) at some point in their life. This finally occurred for Sasuke during the end of the Danzou fight. In Sasuke’s case, he simply had been cracking gradually to finally losing himself completely.

People have talked about Sasuke’s chakra and how can he still use Susano’o, well he only used Chidori twice and when he attempted to kill Sakura rather than using another Chidori instead took her kunai (in other words the chakra that Karin gave him seemingly was about limited to two Chidori). As for Susano’o, I have done my research and haven’t found where it says that it uses chakra but rather life force. As long as the user can withstand the draining of life/strain to the body/eyesight then Susano’o will remain active. Sasuke has hatred and willpower driving him. As seen below you should be able to comprehend how Sasuke is still able to stand and move even though he should be down and that is what we call willpower:

Naruto was hit with the Chakra Receiver and through his own willpower was he able to somehow merge the Kyuubi chakra within Sage Mode and resisted Nagato’s control. To Konan’s disbelief Naruto was able to resist it while being as close as he was to Nagato.

Just how these two were constricted against their will they were able to break out of it just as Sasuke was able to break out of Danzou’s Juinjutsu either with willpower through Susano’o or spiritual energy.

Danzou having been pierced in the heart still walked around talking and used a jutsu before he finally died. How is that even possible? Oh wait in the world of Kishi there is no logic as Sasuke can do what he does and shouldn’t get ridiculed as many other ninja throughout the manga have done the same and are not discriminated against.

All of these shinobi were able to move, attack, briefly defy death etc. and for anybody to say that Sasuke can’t is utterly ridiculous. Sasuke has been able to push his body beyond the logical limits due to his own willpower all the same. Kishi isn’t making Sasuke godly but rather giving him a high will to move about like he did with the others. His limitless chakra reserves can be due to having an increase through all of the fights he has been in etc. Raikage has a bijuu level of reserve and he isn’t even a Jinchuuriki. There are logical (well Kishi logical) reasons as to why Sasuke is able to do what he does and if you all take a minute and push aside the hate you can witness for yourself that there are things in the manga’s past to support these situations. Naruto arrived seeing Sasuke almost killing Sakura and people are already saying things like "Naruto finally has grown up, has grown a pair and will do away with Sasuke". Please, just look at Nagato’s situation where he killed Jiraiya and from what I can remember Kakashi (died protecting Chouji from Pain), Shizune as well as all the others who were close to death in which were either saved by another or severely injured. Yet NARUTO WAS ABLE TO FORGIVE NAGATO AND KONAN thus sparring their lives and people are actually saying that Naruto is going to have a different answer in terms of wanting to kill Sasuke? It is unfortunate to see this because if you really think about it if Naruto forgave/sparred Nagato/Konan who he didn’t even know why would he change his mind for Sasuke? If this indeed occurs then Kishi will have failed contradicting himself/Naruto’s beliefs and the major plot of Shippuuden will have lost all morality and respect from me.

Predictions: Naruto puts Sakura down and has his talk with Sasuke. I highly doubt that Naruto will even lay one finger on Sasuke and instead have that long awaited talk with him. Madara will most likely come in and pick Sasuke up before Naruto could get through to him. I would assume that he will begin to drill into Sasuke’s head that he will need Itachi’s eyes if he wants to further his vengeance and if he refuses, I think that he will simply forcefully implant them.

Sakura is worthless and was saved yet again. WTF is she doing on a ninja squad?! Not even Hinata is that bad. The only reason she was able to beat Sasori was because she had granny chiyo pulling the strings. She is a disgrace to the awesomeness of Tsunade and other Kunoichis.

She could have just hit Sasuke and knocked him out, but no let me pull out my Kunai and stop at the last minute. Oh, I know for a fact that he would not hesitate to kill me at all and even Karin says he has changed, but I'm going to put myself in harms way without a plan again anyway. Sakura needs to grow a pair. lol

I've always enjoyed the story but now feel like it's just gonna get ruined. The obvious path is that Madara saves Sasuke and they prepare for the big battle. The twist would be if they are able to save Sasuke and somehow put some good back into him and Madara tries to corrupt him again. This chasing Sasuke but let's not harm him BS has gone on long enough. I'm hoping for the latter.

I don't like what Kishi has done with Sasuke now. Sasuke will win the #1 Mary Sue award without a doubt. It's all about powerups through anger when it should be about skill.

Kakashi was playing defense here, and good defense too, from one of the or probably the fastest attack out there right now. Plus, we missed some of the fight at the opening. If the fight grew longer, Kakashi would have obviously won as he had more chakra. Yeah the MS is hurting his body, but he still has about 2-3 more shots left. He would have won, and it's good to see that even Sasuke is human. But Sasuke is very strong, and is still improving as we speak.

Anyway, like most said, Madara will save Sasuke after some convo between the obvious two, and then Sasuke will implant either Itachi's eyes, or some other Uchiha's eyes from the storeroom.

Something just occured to me. Things like Madara saving Sasuke`s ass now are way too obvious, and if we know Kishi right, that will probobly not be the outcome.

Madara is busy in his secret lair. He will probobly wrap to the base first before even thinking that Sasuke might be in danger. So as someone else said. I don`t believe Madara will save him this time.

As far as i can see, there can only be two outcomes which doesn`t involve Madara:

1: Team seven talks for a bit then Sasuke somehow manage to summon that hawk again and Naruto is going to be like: "Let him go this time Kakashi". I really don`t believe that this will be the outcome.

2: Which i didn`t even imagine could happend. Sasuke is almost blind now, and his eyesight is blurry. He is surounded by three Konoha Ninjas.

One thing that could really benefit Konoha now would be to take Sasuke as a hostage/capture him and bring him back to Konoha(since he can`t do much now) and let Ibiki Interogate him for info about Akatsuki and Madara`s plans.
Maybe we will see a secret rescue-mission by Sugitsu and Jugo or Zetsu and/or Madara himself.

Cause really. Does anyone think that Naruto and co. will Kill Sasuke? I guess not. Would it be right by Kishi to have Madara saving Sasuke`s ass yet again? That`s too predictable.

I`m going to bet one the second outcome. Any thoughts on that possibility?

Alright guys, this is my first post. First of all, this chapter and the last were freakin sweet (as are almost all chapters).

Second, just gotta say that I can't help but feel sorry for Sasuke. His entire clan and family are murdered by his brother...who turns out to be a good guy. But he doesn't find this out until after he was tricked into killing him. If there was ever a villian in the Naruto universe that I can symathize with, it's Sasuke (Haku as well). No excuse for hurting the people that love him though (Sasuke, Karin).

Also, I am officially a Karin fan. She still loves Sasuke even after what he did to her. For some reason I find that admirable...And I've always been a Sakura fan, there isn't a stronger female ninja in Konoha.

Anyways, now to what I think is going to happen:

Sasuke will obviously be saved by Madara and perhaps will be given Itachi's eyes - at which point I think Itachi will appear to Sasuke, much like the Fourth did with Naruto, and try to talk some sense into him.

In addition, I don't share the conventional view about Madara/Tobi; that he actually is Madara. I think that it is Shisui claiming to be Madara to protect his true identity. Perhaps he's a direct descendent of Madara though.

Lastly, I believe that "Madara" is controlling Sasuke using Shisui's eye technique; using Sasuke's emotions to tip the balance in hatreds favour. Sasuke, or anybody else, wouldn't be aware of it. This is the only way Sasuke will be alive at the end of the manga; if he's not directly responsible for all the people he's killed. Otherwise...

Wow, though, what a writer Kishimoto is. He's built up these characters and friendships in such a way that it is actually almost painful to see things the way they are now.

Well iThink we can all agree that this is the best chapter in the manga so far, & after reading this post iHave some issuses iWanna touch on.

1. There is no way in hell this is the Naruto Vs. Sasuke battle we've been dying for, At the very most all that will happen is Naruto punchin the crap outa Sasuke or Madara comes & scoops up Sasuke

2. For some odd reason iRealy dont feel that Madara & Sasuke are just gunna get outa there, throw a tea party & just come back out of the blue to get 9-Tails again. iSee Sasuke Gettin PWNED by Squad 7 & then realizing this isnt what Itachi had planed for him.

3. Finaly iSee alott of theories on how things will end on Sasukes part. Heres what iThink, Sasuke ends up fighting Madara & the Bijju With Naruto for whatever reason & then dies dramaticly in battle destroyin either the bijju or Madara, Leaving Naruto pissed off to take care of whoevers left.

I have to admit, I haven't been all that into Naruto for a while now (I got into Inuyasha, BUT I AM NOT A WEEABOO). Ever since the fight with Nagato ended, it's been downhill for me. But I kept reading, cause I wanted to stick it out till the end. Now though, it's starting to pick up again, despite the Sasuke God-moding, Naruto being a bit of a *****, Sakura's lack of win, and Tobi not being a good boy anymore. S'alright though, cause it's made up for by Naruto's overflowing win, Sakura's attempt at being bad ass, Sasuke's blindness, Itachi's awesome factor being x 10 better every chapter, and let us not forget Kakashi's being the super sex on legs. I want this to be the final fight with Sasuke but I'm torn between him getting killed, or being taken back home once sense is beaten into him.

I really liked this chapter it's fun to see team seven together and completely screw'upI can't wait for the next chapters.
But i must tell that i'm tired of the *****ing on Sakura, Karin etc.. I am the only one to see that all the women ninja of the world of kishi are just kind of made useless, even if they are really strong and capable like Sakura? Damn She is as strong as Tsunade, in the pain invasion she take out a summoning of pain and everybody around is stunned, she have extraordinary medical jutsu (healing Kankuro) and she can't even defend herself and she always need saving!!!!Same goes for Karin,temari, tenten, hinata, shizune, ino even tsunade at some point! Please tell me i am not alone to see that!
anyways in the same kind of thinking, Sasuke and is power up; I agree with somebody( Sadly I did not find the post ) that his power-up of susanoo goes with its hatred which increases, which brings him towards the madness. Karin notices it with her comment ( is chakra's colder than ever...blah blah blah ....p.9 chapt.484).
Personally I think that the reason for which sasuke wants to kill Karin is the same that Sakura and team seven: erase the slightest possibility of bond he want to be in darkness. And of course his hated for the leaf !

i also believe (dont hate me sasuke haters lol) that sasuke is still savable and will be saved. this manga/anime is based on naruto and his ideals. naruto has been proving everyone wrong since day 1. everyone believe that sasuke is unsavable except for naruto, its only logical that sasuke will be saved. but i doubt he'll just stroll back to konoha and eat ramen wit naruto reminiscing abt the good ol days lol Kishi is either gonna kill sasuke (with sasuke dying 'honorably' somehow) or he's just gonna chnge his ways, but being how everyone hates him, he will never return to konoha and forever be a rehabilitated rogue ninja.

hi, nice point (the second one of course, lol) i never thought on that that could really happen but i think it's difficult to imobilize some one who has still chakra left and has lightning afinity. But that could be interesting if it happens. but another possibility is to karin save him not fighting against team 7 but by for example putting a smoke bomb and pick sasuke and run, i don't know but is possible.
