First off He may or may not knowing that madara is pure evil will shine his sharingan onto the moon becoming in control of the hole world.
the uchiha clan stone tablet that can only be read if you have powerful eyes including: Sharingan, Mangekyo Sharingan (Which Madara Had) and Rinnegan (Nagato)

Once he met with Nagato which had Rinnegan, and if you have Rinnegan from what we know you have access to all jutsu. And on the scroll it probably showed how to get the 10 tailed beast body back (Gedo Mazo) or on the scroll tablet SO6P told everyone that the body was sent to the moon so no one even if they read the uchiha clan stone tablet that no one would go after the ten tailed body or the body was hidden and was gaven to Nagato.

Now Madara wants to become the strongest Person the naruto land has ever seen and wield the ten tails in him and have the most powerful eyes. how do i know?

Gedo Mazo having the power of just touching someone with dragon like tail looking things that takes out the soul of someone by getting touched barely and they die is probably one of the best ninjutsu's out there. This is the power of ten tailed beast with no eye no tails and prob. no chakra because SO6P is not stupid.

I agree with this theory.

If you don't mind me adding to it I have some other theories, all just ideas I have based off some similarities with other Naruto characters. I think Madara has the Rinnegan. Or wants to gain a Rinnegan for himself because wants to replace a missing one eye (either way that explains him covering his eye, and may explain why he is only a shell of his former self). I think the Rinnegan is needed to control the Juubi, similar to how the Sharingan can control the Kyuubi, and either use the Rinnegan to gain the Juubi's power, or control it like the Kyuubi and set it to destroy the world as he seems to be set on destruction, not controlling the world.

i wouldn't be surprised if gedo mazo was what the so6p used to split the juubi's power.. i mean after nagato used it for the first time, it took an enormous toll on his body.. maybe thats what killed the so6p too.. he died of sickness right? i'm thinking gedo mazo might have had something to do with that...
