Don't think Karin will be able to convince Sasuke. The only one able to convince Sasuke will be Naruto(may be using Itachi's power).

Actually, he said that Chidori is more powerful than Rasengan, since Rasengan is just chacra, and chidori has lightning element.
But Fuuton: Rasen Shuriken is more powerful than Chidori/Raikiri, because wind beats lightning.
Otherwise, Kakashi would just have used Rasengan instead of Raikiri every time he uses that tech(Kakashi can do Rasengan if he want to, remember?).
So he probably said that FRS would beat Chidori, but i do agree that Naruto rocks

One side note: Is it just me or does it looks like Naruto did a very weak Rasengan, kinda like the one Konohamaru did during the Pain arc?
It seems that way, but Sasuke`s Chidori looks a little weak too, so maybe he noticed and did a weak one so that he wouldn`t overpower Sasuke`s Chidori?

My prediction for Naruto`s answer:
Naruto: I... will save you and protect Konoha!... Just like i promised Itachi.
Sasuke: ?!...

About Itachi`s gift. He said that he hoped Naruto would never have to use it. Maybe instead of: "I hope you`ll never have to use it to kill Sasuke and protect Konoha", he meant: "I hope you`ll never have to use it to stop Sasuke", Like: "I hope Madara never turns Sasuke on the wrong path and make him go against Konoha so that you`ll have to use this power to stop him".

Maybe Itachi was hoping that Sasuke would stop his seek for revenge after he killed Itachi(him) and go back to Konoha. But if Madara got his hands around him he would help Naruto with his "power(s)" to stop Sasuke without killing him.
In other words, maybe he hoped that Sasuke wouldn`t make the wrong choice and go against Konoha, that`s why he hoped Naruto would never have to use this "power(s)", because he hoped Sasuke would come back to Konoha by himself after he defeated Itachi.

So i believe that the "power(s)" Itachi gave Naruto only can be one of two things:

1: Naruto gets some kind of power(s) to counter some or all of Sasuke`s MS techniques (with his (Sasuke`s) own eyes or when he takes Itachi`s eyes) or something simular to the 1st Hokage`s wood-techniques or some unknown techniques(cause he clearly had some powers to counter Madara`s MS and EMS techniques).

2: Itachi himself comes out of the crow he put inside Naruto as something like Minato in Naruto to lectur Sasuke and help Naruto or he comes out of the crow he put in Naruto like he uses some kind of recarnation techniques and comes back to life without his sickness(which died in his original body which died in the fight with Sasuke). That would have been awsome, and i think that it`s not impossible to happend

Rasengan is stronger than any other chakra tech, its ultimate shape manipulation, the 4th didnt make it for its looks as a perfect sphere, it gives maximum possible power for the chakra put into it.

However when you start adding elements things change, as rasengan has no element.

Either way rasengan is more powerful than chidori, hospital roof, sasuke made a medium sized hole, naruto made tiny, sasuke smirked, and ran off, and saw the back of the water tower naruto hit and its entire back was blasted.

Rasengans like a bullet, it spins real fast and its impact is super sharp at front and drags through to the back, bullet wounds do the same, tiny at impact, massive at exit.

Hopefully not, coz it's kind of on the lame side, not the epic one.

Anyhoos, seems like my predictions partly correct. There were conversations bet the two (though Naruto hasn't mentioned his experience with the pervy sage's loss Xd).

Of course, Sasuke will be stubborn and left unconvinced. So, Naruto said he's gonna make a third choice.

Anyway, regarding the kunai that grazed Naruto's face, I think Naruto won't succumb to that. Kyuubi's chakra is poison enough that he's enduring. But, if he's gonna be affected with such poison, then I'm gonna murder for otherwise turning out the situation and doing a good job on letting Sasuke have his chances to flee. PFF!

Regarding the third choice, I hate to say but I'm guessing it's gonna be saving Sasuke. Naruto could prolly[?] knock him out. Seems like stoned Sasuke will be pwned due to major exhaustion and near-blindness (well, he's blind IMO).

Another thing: Itachi's gift to Naruto may prolly show up. But again, it's too soon and I don't think this would be the final battle between the two (keeping my fingers crossed).

I truely hope this isnt going to end with naruto saving sasuke, them beating madara together, returning to Konoha, and they all live happily ever after, Naruto as Hokage, with his "best friend" as his most trusted advisor with peace reigning in the elemental nations.....

Dang, I think this is partly gonna happen. I don't think Naruto will kill Sasuke. He's definitely gonna do anything just to save Sasuke. Indeed, homo, I mean, brotherly[duh] love is in the air. lololol

I like this chapter. Well, as always though.

About the Kunai issue, I thinks it's a fair fight, since Sasuke too is a bit exhausted with his past battle between Danzo and any other opponents he fought with. Naruto too, in his side, will be a much tougher fight, because he has to face with a lot of decision. Also, Naruto is not wearing his konoha's head gear, ( I think left that one in scape from Captain Yamato ). I'm sure this would be great fight, since both fighters now are not representing their sides in Konoha.

I just can't wait for the next episode again. @_@

If sasuke doesnt die, ill be pissed. not now, but in the long run. cuz no one who decides "oh, i think im gonna go kill a hokage today" or "hey! lets go get rid of the leaf village" should be allowed to live in it. I said it in another post but ill say it here to. Naruto is being a selfish idiot. Sasuke is an enemy of Konoha. He has killed a Hokage (even if he tricked his way in Danzo WAS named 6th Hokage) and has stated the he will kill everyone in Konoha to "purify" and restore the Uchiha clan. He attacked the raikage's brother in Kumo. He is working with Uchiha Madara. Naruto claims to want to be Hokage. He needs to starting working for Konoha's best interests, not what he desires.

He should learn the lesson taught by his fathers example, for the good of Konoha, he gave his soul to the shinigami and burdened his son with the Kyuubi. Did he WANT to die? Did he want his son to be hated? Since Gaara wasnt the first ichibi jinchuriki he had to of known how they were treated.... Did he WANT his son to grow up without his father? Im going to take a leap of faith and say no. But for the good of the village he put aside HIS desires and did what was needed. Naruto needs to do the same. If he cant figure it out himself then someone else needs to point that out.

I understand that this chapter was the build up for the next but still I am a bit disappointed only talking. Naruto and Sasuke chat at the end was confusing though was it real or it was Naruto thinking about it. The third choice . He is not gonna kill Sasuke nor get killed by him. So its looking quite obvious that he will say the same thing he told Itachi "I will save Konoha without killing Sasuke" but that's kinda selfish. I remember Naruto pleading for Sasuke bowing down in front of the Raikage and the Raikage said "you are bowing your head for a criminal who was your friend" something like that. That makes sense actually every criminal has friends so if each of their friends just say forgive my friend for killing your family member it won't work. Naruto has his own way I like it, his never give up attitude is the thing I like the most but there are somethings in life where you have to take a extremely difficult choice. Like Minato sealing the Kyuubi inside his own son, Itachi killing his own clan his own parents so that it won't trigger another ninja war and just like Jiraiya where he knew he could escape but didn't so that he could figure out some of Pain's tech and help Konoha ninjas mainly Naruto to fight against Pain. I hope Kishi won't let us down

Well talk no justu has worked till now but it won't work on Sasuke and even I know that Naruto won't even think of killing Sasuke but its just getting a bit annoying I am a huge Naruto fan and I believe his way of thinking is cool but there are times when Naruto needs to think logically if it wasn't for him Sakura would have been dead(I would have been extremely happy) so he knows that Sasuke's intentions are really bad. But hey we don't know may be Kishi will do the same with Sasuke as he did with Nagato. May be when Naruto talks about Itachi meeting with him and also Naruto's father the 4th Hokage saying to him that Madara was behind the Kyuubi attack may be just may be there may be a change of heart. Sasuke may just understand what's he doing is wrong and heads to Konoha with team 7. I know its highly impossible but look Naruto not killing Sasuke nor getting killed by him is just too annoying. Common either kill that Uchiha hate guy or get killed by him and let your village destroy by him. I have a funny feeling that Kishi will surprise us in the upcoming chapters. Can't wait for the next chapter.

about the naruto-sasuke talk, i think it just happens inside naruto's head. most of the time naruto is talking and the only thing sasuke says is that naruto has to kill him or to be killed. that's not something sasuke would say. he wouldn't admit the possibilty to be killed by naruto...

don't think so. you can see 2 clones standing behind kakashi. he most likely did the rasengan while kakashi was talking. i think there's no other reason for him to make exactly 2 clones than to do the rasengan.

When i was at school today in my English class, i was reading in my English book, when i suddenly came across something that kinda shooked me.
It was a quote which sounded like this:

"Let us extinguish the flames of hatred with a flood of dialogue", - Buddhist word of wisdom.

Hey, wait! That`s exactly what Naruto does, and what he`s trying to do to Sasuke! End his chain of hatred with a lot of talk! OMG, Kishi must have read that quote cause it mirror`s the ongoing event perfectly

I was thinking that Naruto must in some way be able to change Sasuke a little, or he, Kakashi or Sakura will probably going to regreat not killing him/wasteing their chance to kill him later on.

I was thinking that if Naruto tells about Itachi and Minato, Sasuke may remember that Itachi said that Madara was behind the attack, and when Naruto says that Minato also said that, he will become confused on what to to.

So i`m guessing. What if Naruto will be able to change him, and instead of Sasuke going back to the village with Naruto and co. he will go back to Madara as a double agent and try to either learn his secrets, secretly kill him, or start a cooperative attack on Madara`s base. Naruto and co. from the outside. Sasuke from the inside.

Consider the possibility on that happening? That would have been totally unexpected from Kishi`s side, kinda like he always do, and the chances may favour that outcome.

Yes i personally like to see Sasuke than Naruto; at least Sasuke gives me some actions. You can say sasuke is stubborn and ignorance but he does not do LOVE-TALK or GAY-TALK like naruto.... or "I WILL SAVE HIM WITHOUT KILLING HIM" that's annooying and boring. I dont wanna see the scene where Naruto and Pain had before will happen to Sasuke......

Though I'm not really leaning into such possibility, I don't think a sneak attack would be the end-all and be-all of the series. It's probable, but I don't think it's gonna cost a major villain's life. That wouldn't be epic.

I'm still looking forward to the 4th great ninja war. I'm looking forward to Madara using all the sharingans and tailed beasts he collected (wow, he's an AVID collector, I just noticed lol), as well as all the villages joining forces in battling against him.

I'm actually vouching for Sasuke to stay as a vermin til the end. I'd love to see a healthy and powerful Sasuke battling with Naruto in the final match, or even as one of the not-so-final yet climactic matches.
