    Conn Iggulden: Conqueror

    Har har, it's-a-me, Wafflio!

I would happily suggest the series of Conn Iggulden, especially the Conqueror series.
It starts from mongol tribes and goes to great extent to reveal parts of the mongolian history that you might not have known. Not all is truth based, mainly because writing hadn't really been too popular that time, but main parts indeed are. This is a great series, has 5 books and can be found with soft covers.

Umm, yea, read it, just read it. Also James Clavell is a wonderful author, just for the note.

I’ve heard of the series tho I didn’t have time to read the books. The story is about Genghis and Ogedai Khan if I am not wrong, right?
I’ve already heard of the name of this author several times before. A friend of mine recommended to me his book series Emperor but I was really lazy to start reading them since there are four or more parts/books in the series.
