There are 2 side to it, if the fire is weaker than the wind then the fire would lose and if they were the same strength or fire was stronger then fire would win.

Think about this...why do people in the jungle blow the flames when they are trying to make a bigger fire?????

Because the wind is stronger than the fire. Therefore if FRS went against a simple fire element combo, then kakuzu is toast.

I'm trying to figure out where he's getting the idea that Hardened Skin can't be punctured by anything but lightning based attacks.

Normal Wind Rasengan punctured him just fine the first time. If Kakuzu had some innate immunity to wind techniques, he'd have likely survived against Wind Shuriken the first time he fought Naruto, but that's not what happened. The only thing Kakuzu has going for himself right now is that he's been resurrected using Edo Tensei, making him impossible to destroy through normal means.

The real arguement is whether FRS is a normal means for destroying someone, since the ability to throw a FRS is literally impossible for anyone else to do atm. Naruto couldn't do it until after he mastered Sage Mode.

Kakuza greatest weapon was his many elements.....but that has been taken away

I would say that the battle goes like this.

naruto casts SM shadow Clones (Around 1-4). Naruto eats pop-corn and revises his Sexy no-jyutsu while the SM Shadow clones pwn kakuzu.

Nearly no fight at all. Rasen-shyuriken is not needed. Just SM Naruto's speed is enough.:P:P

yh i completely agree if that kakuzu got hit with a FRS in sage mode he will be obliterated into nothingness, but im sure kakuzu can beat it with his fire/wind combo because it makes his normal fire much more powerful to beat the FRS

and i know i should of mentioned this before but no summons or jinchuriki transformations allowed because that just makes the fight unfair as naruto is just getting help

as for naruto beating pain that was a plot no jutsu and therefore it doesnt really count, also i think that kakuzu's taijutsu and SM narutos are about the same because naruto's attacks wont have any effect on the hardskin

nevertheless it will be a really close fight

Dude please don't make such statements without proof. Sage mode gives him super powered strength. Why wouldn't he be able to injure Kakuzu?

Fact of the matter is Kakuzu is a minor side character, and that's at best.
