What if the reason he stock piles so many sharigans is because his whole body is covered in sharigans, thats why he would keep it covered and since he has EMS he can control Izanagi and just replace that eye when using it to evade a attack

That's a good theory; that would be a good explantion. but i still think that he covers it up because he didn't want anyone to know who he was before/ or he might be someone posing as madara :)

Good Point, The Original Madara would not need to Hid His Face if He wanted to strike fear in His enemies, theirs only 2 reasons for hiding ones face 1. You're not the Real Madara. 2. You are disfigured and do not want the world to see what you have become.

3. I think Madara actually has another Dojutsu in his other eye. Maybe the Rinnegan? Even though he had the mask since before Pain's face was shown, we still woulda recognized the Rinnegan from Pain's silhouette.
