[Discussion] what is the 10 tails appearance?

Since the begining of part two, I have been wondering what exactly this thing was?

I Researched today and got a name."demonic statue of the outer path"

I am positive this statue is infact the 10 tailed beasts itself!!!!

This thing is obviously importiant to Akasuki, as it stores all the tailed beasts within it.
Another thing I must have forgotten abot was the fact that this statue requires Akasuki to capture the tailed beasts in order, otherwize, it'll fall apart and all their efforts would prove useless.

Being a statue, nobody knows how many years it has been about?
We know that Akasuki keep their hideout secret, likelyhood is, this isn't for their own saftey

The 10 tailed beast silhouette as an image conjured whilst our current charcters spoke, none of them have seen it, yet even so, being a shadow leaves a lot to the imagination...

The shadow figure has 10 tails and one riningan, whilst the statue has a number of stumps and covered eye(s).
Plus, it's never emmerged from the ground and is bound by chains.

Abilities
The demons statue shoots a dragon type thing, which provides us with something new, yet it does also use the tailed beasts it carries in order to beef up it's attacks, therefore, it gains from harbouring them.

Users
So far, Nagato hs been able to summon it.
Nagato has the riningan, just like the sage who sealed it in the first place.


Think about it, such a monster of a creature wouldn't be bought into a story only to be dissregarded.
Akasuki are patient enought to wait 3 days for the seal to be complete, why not just use a pot of tea again?
It's obviously needed in order to merge the tailed beast, if Akasuki succeeded in getting the lot, the 10 tails will either emmerge from that statue or be the statue itself?!

mm... maybe those parts behind the head of the statue are the tails of the juubi broken D: but i've always think that that statue is the juubi

Maybe you are right. The statue is the jyuubi and the statues home is in the moon.

ex: Frogs are at the mountain. yoU summon them and they exit mountain.
Statue is inside the moon. You summon her and she comes to you

yea, I was actually thinking about this. Since Pain is the Rinnegan user, and considering that the Sage of the six paths had sealed the Juubis body into the moon, its only obvious that Pain was capable of calling it again, but Madara would need to gather other Bijus to call it again and seal it within himself. I agree.

its just a summoning skill, no a blood limit, and the evil masked guy has the sharingan, so meaby he can summon it also %_%

The statue has a BLINDFOLD!!! those 9 eyes were added some time after Nagato first summoned it

I think you are right but i think the only way we will see it is in some kind of memory or flashback because if that thing actually got summoned it would be over & that would mean the Akatsuki would get the 8 tails & the 9 tails i think the 10 tails will be like the eye from Lord of the Rings we know it's out there & it's very strong but it won't be revived in the end. But if it does get summoned i could see Madara trying to control it but it kills him & Naruto will stop it somehow
