Re: Why I think the manga has gone down hill.

I agree with the OP-ness part.

The story is near its end so everything will be revealed step by step.

Kakashi performing some of copied 1000 jutsus, I agree with you to some extent. We haven't seen which jutsus he copied whether a low-level, mid-level or high-level. He copied Rasengan as well so there are some limitations for him which he cannot cross in the middle of the war just to drain his chakra reserves rapidly with no sign of damage to the opposite side. Now the question remains is how many high-level jutsus he has copied because of which Kishi is stopping him from using in the war.
This can be compare with the food stuff. Even if you know or copy recipes of food, one cannot make them delicious as the original cook.

I still enjoy the Naruto manga, but I have a feeling it's only because of my curious personality, so I have to know what will happen next

I agree. If there were more plot twists, people would call it asspulls and diss Kishi. That's how bad the average Naruto fans are.

Re: Why I think the manga has gone down hill.

Manga may not be that engaging for many because of various reasons, but some make a career of fretting over every little thing because they wanted it to be written in some other way while Kishi had his own ideas.

Over analyzing everything, looking for theories and expecting certain twist where none were needed, hanging on to every little word which may or may not be of importance ( since we do not even read the original manga but translations) arguing over it 24/7 is what makes one tire of a piece which was suppose to entertain us.

I don't criticize what Kishi does plot-wise. It's his story and I love the way he presents it and where he want to go from here. I concentrate on moments and what a panel has to offer. I do read complaints but the alternative ideas people come with are often the worse cliche. Let me clear one thing- I am not saying Naruto is the best piece of literature out there ever written. Kishi can be criticized on various literary points but from what I see, people mostly complain because Kishi didn't write it the way they wanted him to write.

Some wanted more panel time and awesome action from their favourite characters; some were disappointed because their theories didn't come true; some wanted more romance and some more angst and tragedies. Some people even compare it to a small war arc( which they think was big because of total number of characters involved) in another manga while totally missing that that war fit more with Gara rescue arc than a shinobi world war.( war with a specific simple goal and preparation for the next part of the story and character development not as a climax of the story.) Different kind of stories shouldn't be compared especially on chapter to chapter basis. But , if we read it in a novelized form instead of serialized one and review it as a whole in the end, chances are high that we will find it an interesting and well written manga over all.

Kishi started to work on it somewhere in 1996. It's been a long time since then and he put a lot of efforts in it. The theme itself had to reach it's climax when the mysteries are solved/explained and not any major twists are likely to happen especially if they follow all the shonen rules, i.e. they cannot really let Madara win. If any twist is there it will probably be a minor one like Naruto may not be a hokage. We may hope that Sakura beats up Sasuke for a change but even that will not a be a major twist.

I don't know if Kishi has some self imposed or editor imposed time constraints and has to finish this manga but people need to calm down.

As another member put it somewhere else on this site:

The best thing Kishi can do is finish this arc with passion, care, and attention to detail. Go out with a bang. He's got all the character present to do so. Unfortunately, even the most reasonable of fans may ask too much. I just hope Kishi goes out with as much passion and care as he came in with.
Even if if it's not that big a bang, it was fun journey reading this manga and I would look forward to another piece by this writer if he started it.

I agree with Ira and the guy leafeater, for some factual reasons. There's no denying it.
Kishi is making his way towards the end and he is trying to put much efforts in the current War arc for the fans to entertain without missing the main purpose of the Story. But we fans for some reason are only focusing on the unnecessary parts without realizing the main points of the current situation.

There is a grain of truth in every myth. Kakashi has shown what? two dozen jutsus? That's not enough for anyone to start spreading the rumor he had a thousand. Especially, since many seem to have that many techs as Kakashi does
God of Shinobi was a title the Third earned via feats. He hasn't shown why he earned that title. That title should belong to the Third Raikage or Onooki.

He has the right to speak his mind. Anyone from Harvard Professors to convicted criminals has the right to speak thier mind. Just because you disagree with him doesn't mean he should be silent."I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it."--Voltaire. Moreover, the reason you gave was a poor one. the K11 (10 - Sakura + Sai) were given a power-up by naruto. They were made temporarily OP. They were given the power of a tailed beast
Kakshi uses his own original jutsus and fighting style and that's also something to be proud off. He could copy their movements and practicing them later on might include it into his arsenal but that doesn't necessarily mean he should really be made in to a copy cat only- by that logic all Uchihas should be nothing more than copy cats. After all it was Obito's sharingan which made it possible to do that. I think he uses his sharingan in better way.

As for sharing power with Konoha 11 members- Itachi told him not to do everything himself all the time. That this alienates people ultimately whether consciously or not and such a person becomes arrogant, selfish and lonely in the end. They arrived to help Naruto and did so many times. Naruto gave them a chance to be there with him while fighting and they do have skills and brains which would be useful. Even if it is not that big even small amount of extra hands may turn the tide when odd are so against you. It also means that Naruto recognized their feelings and showed his appreciation by including them even if he could probably use extra clones. And the psychological impact of it on Obito was already visible.

Even if it is not as good as it was before, I still like it. I like finishing things I start, even if it is as easy as reading a manga. .__.

But I like seeing Tobirama fight. I want to see his background and how he and Hashirama have fallen.
