Manga Coloring Contest [10] June

Since the last host is inactive and people want this back we will start anew with this upcoming month. This is a Bi-Weekly contest now so let's get this going.

Welcome, welcome, welcome... This is the Manga Coloring Competition! Since we are starting this off with a fresh new slate. Let's keep this simple.

As a new twist for this contest, we will have themes. To make it easy for this first time around let's start off with a manga of choice, and practically the center of attention for most members of Narutobase. Naruto Manga will be the first bi-weekly choice.

If you want to participate, you need to enter a colored manga page of your choice of this bi-weekly theme. You must send both the original and colored to my PM. I also want you to post that you are participating in this contest down below "I will be taking part in this competition.". I also recommend to send the pm with the title "Manga Coloring Contest Entry". This is to make it easier on myself, and to make sure you are not ignored due to the fact I get a lot of PMs. Please and Thank you.

Rules:
-Entries must be your own work
-To keep all submissions anonymous, do not show your coloring to anyone on any site including DA
-Do not put your username on your submission
-All entries will be accepted by Sunday, June 6th, 11:59PM Pacific Time -8 GMT (Late entries will not be entered into the line up)
-Make sure you give me the original image as well
-Make sure nobody knows which submission is yours!

The rules are pretty simple. Just try to understand that we want to make this fair for everyone. Don't ask people to vote for your piece and/or tell people to not vote for a certain piece.

The winner will recieve a medal as usual. Follow the rules, and have fun^^

I'd like to keep it to manga. Sorry, fan art isn't related to this, unless it's manga type of fan art. Plus you already posted it on DA. =/ Why don't you just do a new one, you have a week and some change. :D

You can send it, but I'm sorry Ban_Kai. If you already showed it off, that's breaking the rules. I want to at least follow the rules of the contest once to get this going. Just enter it in a different contest. =/

It's mostly the point that you already revealed it as yours, not the way it is. I said fan art manga, might be tolerated if I see it should. Just save it later on and delete it everywhere else. Maybe the people that saw it will forget about it and later on in the contest themes we'll do fan art theme. =/ Iunno...

@ Sin: Yes, if you use the line art of the manga page it's ok.

@ -Kuro Ite-: Yes, we will do a Naruto Manga page of your choice. You can have the line art only or keep the cleaned version of it if you wish. Just needs to be colored and finished by the deadline.

Keep it down on the text color will you, changed the yellow part, since it is impossible to read it when people are using Narutobase V2 or something skin.

Oh, Thanks :D I was wondering about that too, but I just kept it like that to help the rainbow effect. =/ Oh well. I'll just use orange from now on.

Edit: Also I never had a problem reading the yellow text since I use V2 NB skin. =/ That is why I thought it was ok with me.

People have different screen adjustments you know, some have dark screen, some have very bright.

It's a manga picture of some sort, cover page/Page in the manga/ect... No fan art of just the character or something of that nature. I will allow naruto manga page fan art as long as you haven't broke any of the other rules of this contest. :D

I've been looking forward to "something to look forward to" for a long time now here at the NB forums. Finally the comp is back, can't wait for ppl to submit and join. It's gonna be good to see it running again.

Currently you should be able to tell from the thread, but I'm still waiting for entries for the contest. I give this enough time since some people, including me, might randomly get a busy schedule or problem in RL which needs attention. So either way we won't start ahead of schedule for this competition.
