idk probably 2 hour to color and 2 hour to make the lineart, and i could coloring the Entry 2 in 10 min. and lol the shades where allready there on the panel, nothing new added xD


But anyway its not the artists fault, its the voters

Yeah lol, but even if 'some' are liking the anime style more, i don't know why. Personally i think it looks shit compared to yours. The darkness which you have created is amazing.

yea i cant understand it neither, they probably like the anime style more cause they dont know how simple it is, actually ANime style is used at the beggining of every artist, like a 1st step, when i 1st started coloring i colored in anime style like this and i got borred of it cause it was to damn simple , just look at this, i made it in probably 50 min but this is a super advanced cell shading and that thing that animators do and Entry 2 only have a few shades in the art and of the same tone, http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs71/f/20...ABLO123456.png

It's easily understandable. Someone that is used to something and that enjoys how it looks already shows that they don't need a change of something that they like. Your entry isn't better or worse than the others, it's just different.

Also like everything in art, it doesn't matter the time, the process, or the effort to the eyes that will look at it. The finished result is what will be looked at and not the work put into it. Regardless of the voters or artist, you only color or make art to make yourself feel good, express yourself, and only to impress your own eyes. If it's good to you, it doesn't matter if it's good to others since you love it the way it is.
