well back in early Europe beer was one of the main staples of liquids as the water was often contaminated... they used beer because the alcohol would kill bacteria, and various parasites.. Beer is also basically liquid bread... Is bread bad for you?

Of course beer is bad for your health, I don't care how many research reports say it's good for you. Alcohol numbs you and kills braincells (and a lot more funny stuff). But like Bishamon already said this community has gone to far with the eco and healty green stuff. The government is always forbidding stuff, and taking away all the good things. Thank god we still have beer. I expect to post the results of my own research soon here: "How beer can make ugly woman attractive". As soon as i've finished my beer. Cheers !

i don't think having a beer or mixed drink here or there is gonna kill you. but if you're an alcoholic, you're screwed. =P

on that note, i'm holding off the alc for a week. played 3 nights of beer pong in a row this past weekend. didn't play much the last night. but! i never had a hangover. =3
