Madara is without question the best villain in the series there is now way whatever Kishi does that will make me feel sorry for Madara like he does with all of the other villains really good chapter & i think this set's up if Naruto gets the Kyuubi taken out of him he wont die since Kushina did not die immediately

her first mother and child bond with Naruto before she dies...

This chap. also showed jus' how quick and cool Minato trully is... his title fits him well.

On the other hand, the last page surprised me seeing Itachi holding Sasuke.
It reminded me just how close the two were...

Damn, what a sad manga it turned out to be.

Hope next weeks manga contains more talking than fight scenes/pages tbh.

This was a great chapter. It had a lot of emotions. It created a lot of questions about who the masked man is. I cant wait for the next chapter to see minato vs the kyuubi and madara. Its gonna be an epic battle.

I guess the next few chapters are going to about the fight between Madara and the 4th Hokage. Then hopefully back to Naruto's training... Like its been said already, Madara is truly a villain, almost killing baby Naruto and Kushina, he's in a desperate need of revenge. I hope Naruto tears his ass up when they meet up. I hope Madara is the first person Naruto truly kills.

good chapter. is showing how low madara can go. next chapter we will see the assault the nine tails made on konoha. with itachi in the last page it may show how he discovers madara is alive.

Hey did anyone see the next few episode of naruto shippuden there going to show this fight can't wait to read it and then actually see it. Also like someone said on here it does show that naruto can still live inf the kyubi is extracted but does anyone know who raised naruto after this i know after a while he lived by himself but his parents die the day of his birth so who raised him then.

Amazing. Minato was truly living up to his nickname. And showing Itachi holding on to Sasuke is just precious. WOW@KUSHINA, she would make an amazing soccer mom.

My prediction is that we'll get to see Minato in action :overjoy: Afterward, maybe we'll get back to present day and see either Sasuke's new eyes or Kisama finally moving to second step?

Though it only emphasizes the fact that Minato was unable to do anything against Madara - except seal the Nine-Tails into his son, hoping he would be able to combat Madara should he ever attack again. The next time Naruto confronts Madara, there will be little doubt that he will be enraged beyond all imagination - most of the things that have gone wrong in Naruto or Sasuke's lives (and the series in general) have been a result of Madara's actions. But that's why he is the main villain of the series.

i think madara hasn't been 100% truthful about itachi's life because it has been shown here how he lied to sasuke about not being behind the kyuubi attacking kanoha. Madara uses sasuke's hatred to control him.
I think itachi gave sasuke his power so he can kill madara, now i don't even believe the moon's eye plan is his real motive, i think some light may be shown on the topic of him being the 4th mizukage in coming chapters.

once again your insight is second to none on this forum.it's almost sad that we know what lies ahead as we witness the details of that tragic day and we all know the outcome.it was the ending of two great peoples lives and the start of another and a night that will change the course of history forever.because the events of this day sasuke will lose everyone he holds dear and narutos future is one without parents only to be replaced by the kyuubi and all the hurt and pain and suffering that came along with it.and yet he is still the man he is today despite everything he has gone thru.it is still comforting to see him finally understand how much they truly loved him though.he has deserved it and has finally found the love and closure he was looking for

omg.... that was SO FREAKING SAD! minato having to choose between his two loves... Kushina having her last moments with her son, Itachi lovingly holding Sasuke in his arms.... WHY DOES MADARA HAVE TO TAKE EVERY NICE MOMENT AND CHUCK IT OUT THE WINDOW! I have a suggestion about what Madara should do! He should go F**K himself, because after knowing about that chapter, NO ONE ELSE WILL!
