Nah, i belive that Tobi is Madara, BUT madara is not in his original body, i think kabuto has that body. i mean obito got crushed under that gian rock, so it's very difficult for me to belive that he is Tobi.

While I don't believe Tobi is Obito as Kishi tends to keep 'filler' separate from the main story (which is what I consider Kakashi Gaiden to be as it does not add to the current Naruto story, only adds history), Nagato did fight his sensei Jiraiya, so your logic doesn't really hold water.

...when we see tobi fight minato...Tobi is the SAME size as he is today even though Obito would have been a kid. In one of the most recent chapters they show minato fighting Tobi, and a few pages later it shows kakashi, asuma, and all the other ninja their age...they were called "kids" and told to stay out of the attack of the nine tails.

Its perfectly clear to see in that chapter(503?) that Tobi has not grown since that day, but kakashi and the others were shown as teens that were much smaller than the adults they were in the frame with.

So the OP's theory also holds no water :P

Is it possible that madara is using that same techique that Orochimaru uses when he changes bodies and that is how he has lived so long.

My idea was just purely speculation but if you think about it all madara really did was steal naruto which stopped Minito from keeping the fox in Kushina and summoned the fox to a diffrent location and then he got his ass beat by minito which is just what i would expect form obito.
But i was just thinking he took his body because he was in the situation to where he wasnt strong enough to get the body of another uchiha.

I completly understand what your saying and im not saying your wrong but im just trying to come up with a situation to which obito assumes the idenity of tobi aka madara.

i've also just read in another thread that some people belive that madara is auctaly just diffrent parts and peices of people (maybe obito is a peice) put together by zetsu and that this person belives that it is madara.
they also said that he has a bunch of diffrent sharingans and maybe he can interchange them.

Sadly obito isn't tob because tobi was about the same hight of the fourth when they fought it would of been impossible for obito to get that tall that quick, even kakashi was seen to be short a that time.

However tobi could have obito's sharingan.
