Village Limited Biographies

So I was just skimming through the RP Bio Rules sticky when I came across this:

►The following character biographies will now become restricted in terms with the village system. Members are not permitted to use Sasori , 3rd Kazekage, and puppets unless they are in the Sunagakure within the village and therefore members found using these bio's in the use of village system battles shall be punished accordingly for breaking and not following this rule. Also members of Sunagakure gain a higher rate of resistance to poisons.

I don't understand how this can be considered a fair rule. If this is a rule than shouldn't every village have their clans/canon characters restricted to them? I find it unfair that one village restricts certain biographies and puppets while the others don't. If you restrict certain canon characters to their village of birth than its only fair that you restrict ALL canon characters to their village of birth.

In this past war I used a Sasori bio and I'm from Konoha. Nobody from Suna even as much as mentioned anything about it to me, so is there even people from Suna who are really behind this rule?

You make a valid point. Although it makes sense to keep Sasori/Third Kazekage bios in Suna, then if that's the case, most clans/bios should be confined to certain villages (i.e. the jinchurikki)

Well then it would make sense to keep all uchiha bio's in konoha, and all hyuuga bios...

The problem that would cause is that there are a lot of people who have bios that they wouldn't be able to use in the wars any more. For example, Naruto would logically be restricted to Konoha, but -Naruto Uzumaki- is a part of Kiri. He worked hard and had to pass one of the hardest tests to get that bio so it wouldn't be fair if he wasn't allowed to use it any more.

I likewise find this wrong and unfair. If members are able to leave villages and go to other villages, then common sense would tell you that Sasori could leave suna and go to say, Konoha.

In the sense of this rule, anyone with a Sharingan, Byakugan, Inuzuka, Lee/Guy, and Nara bio would have to join Konoha. Anyone with a Kaguya bio will have to go the Mist village.

Which leads to my question. If this rule is to be inforced, what will happen to those members with bios that are from two different villages?

Ya, I have no problem with the resistance to poisons bit either, though I think it should be clarified as to what that means.

That rule was made at a time when Suna only had four members, me, kawagiri, rei and grim, and at the time i wasn't allowed to fight without being attacked.

Well thats definitely a problem.


I just don't think restricting bios to the village is a good way of solving it. Especially because chances are you're not going to solve your problems by having 20 people and make Sasori bios lol.

well no..it was more of an attempt to gain the memberships of those who had those bios

but i'll talk to nexus and reevaluate it soon...especially if suna continues to gain new members
