why the hell should he? just because he can? that would be the same thing as everyone in konoha will sooner or later commit suicide? why will he commit suicide? I dont think gai will ever commit suicide = open the 8th gate. Why would he?he could as well accept death in battle because he will die anyway when he opens the 8th gate.

The fight is over Guy did not open the 8 Gate now He is recuperating from His ordeal and will be out of action for a time.

I think that Gai will open it - he just seems headstrong enough to do it, and Kisame seems really strong, even in a semi-weakened state.

Also, we've seen that in Naruto's new 9-tails form, he releases what seems to be "life energy". It was enough to turn Yamato's wood totems into large trees in a matter of seconds. So maybe if Gai opens the 8th Gate and kills Kisame, Naruto can "heal" Gai back to normal and save him from dying.

Anyone agree/disagree?

he will oneday in the manga that 100 percent sure but against kismae highly doubt i no it wont happen thev already defeated him anyways even though he broke out hes probaly going to kill himself if gi does ill be diddopainted cause that was a short quick sucky fight and was rushed and wasnt intense enough to use that when he unleashes the 8 gate its going to be a sweet battle
