I think you will find that itachi was lying about jiraiya and how he couldnt defeat him, itachis plans are different to akatsukis, they couldve taken naruto EASILY in that episode 83-85 section, itachi didnt want to take naruto.

Also Jiraiya has fought orochimaru before, and orochimaru has been able to beat him or be even with him since theyre fighting.

Itachi killed orochimaru in around 0.4 seconds.

There is no contest itachi wouldve won

Oro is easily the strongest sannin, matched possibly by Jiraiya, theyre very close, tsunade is skilled etc but her attacks require short distances, she can direct earthquakes but theyre waaaay too slow, itachi is possible the fastest ninja ever known, in terms of reflexes and movements, tsunade would be no problem for him,

Jiraiya he may have most trouble with given what we saw when he fought pein.

What i want to know is if ma and pas genjutsu is stronger than itachis tsykunomi??

well was'nt itachi afraid of jiraiya?i think they would pull it all out Oro would get cocky and die when Itachi summons Sussann'o and Probly Die of chakra overuse or because of a super rasengan to the face, while Jiraiya is in Hermit mode and Tsunade Regenerates

Yeah, he did want to gather info on pein and akatsuki, but i think youll find once he realised how strong pein was (that he defeated the previous hidden rain villages kage, the guy who made him a sannin) he was fighting to his most.

He even stated in the manga clearly that his strongest fighting style, hermit mode, was no good.

Itachi has yatas mirror, which specifically states by zetsu is an legendary item that deflects all attacks, and the sword of totsuka which susano holds.


I dont get this whole "chakra over-use"

Once youre out youre out, you cant overuse chakra because chakra doesnt work on a loan system, if you have none-youre using none, simple as that.

Itachi can dodge rasengans easily, the fight with sasuke is a little contradictory, as his movements arent the best, but he is the fastest ninja known, no one beats him in reflex speed, his seal formations are faster than what kakashi can do, and to pull it all off the 3 sannins are useless at genjutsu.

Jiraiya himself stated hes not good with genjutsu
Tsunade is all about raw power so logically-she wont be good against it either
Orochimaru doesnt appear good or bad at it, neutral.

Not just that but nobody can get out of a tsukynomi, hed own them all easily.

first of all, oro is already sealed by the sword: and if one sanin was sealed, the rest could be sealed in the eternal genjutsu: Itachi would own em all

exactly, seriously orochimaru was a tough guy, and itachi just got rid of him instantly haha, and itachi has beaten him before without releasing susano in theory otherwise orochimaru would know about the sword etc that susano holds, oro was looking for the sword, he wouldve recognised it once he saw susano with it

Therefore itachi beat orochimaru previously as we know thats why orochimaru left akatsuki WITHOUT susano, meaning if he unleashes susano, the three sannin are gonners.

This is the guy who kept tabs on uchiha madara no less, itachi is probably the 2nd strongest ninja in the series so far, as soon as we see peins and tobis biggest movesets, and yondaime gaiden (real) if it happens, and narutos training, then itachi will most likely whittle down to 5-6th place.

Until then the only ninja i can think stronger than him is the 4th...1st as well as he beat madara so...itachi is definitely in the top 3

Here is how susano'O is taken out:
The swamp jutsu jiraiya used on oro's snake, will make susano'o go down to

Orochimaru will find a way with his many techniques to seal the fire away

Not really a counter to this
BUT
There are THREE people
And maybe sacrifice one
THen the other two are close to itachi
And kick his ass

Also jiraiyas swamp might not work on a sharingan technique, susano is a mystery, as he appears to be able to hold the sword of totsuka, a genjutsu item and the sword itself didnt look corporeal, it might be that susano is not perfectly tangible or sinkable via that swamp.
