Re: 9 tails for 8 tails
What?? what do you mean by 9 tails for 8 tails? and if you mean transferring the two biju then that is impossible.

Re: 9 tails for 8 tails
naruto is stronger than 8 tails in my opinion even with half chakra

im asking chakra wise

Re: 9 tails for 8 tails
conceptually nine tails chakra is equal to 1~8
and 8 tails chakra is 1~7
so if nine tails chakra is halved it should be weaker then 8 tails

that makes sense

Re: 9 tails for 8 tails
Well i think the nine tails is still stronger than the eight tails....when naruto took over the kyuubi's chakra it still had enuff strength to form a menacing ball.....i dnt think the hachibi is that strong....they mite be equals but the hacibi will never be superior

Re: 9 tails for 8 tails
Also, they aren't using all of their Bijuu's chakra at the same time. So the amount isn't all that matters. The actual strength of the chakra is also important, and the Kyuubi is going to have much stronger chakra than the Hachibi.

what do you meen with the ~ sign, I'm asuming your saing that the power of the nine tails is the sum of the power of the one tails + the two tails + ... + eight tails? right?
by that logic, half the nine tails should be the same as the eight tails
because nine tails = 1~8 = (1~7) + the power of the eight tails
it's the same as writing 2 times (1~7)
halving that gives the power of the eight tails

Re: 9 tails for 8 tails
It was stated that the nine tails is 10 times stronger than any other bijuu. That's why the 1st saved the 9 tails for konoha. So even if the 9 tails only has half of its chakra, it is still stronger than the 8 tails.

umm, because naruto was a few minute old baby. He didn't have the sealing techniques his mother had yet... he had absolutely no control.

Re: 9 tails for 8 tails
It's very easy to understand.
~Juubi~ 100% (ten tails)
~Kyuubi~ has 50% power of the ~Juubi~
So the other 50% of the ~Juubi~ is shared with 8 other beasts!
The most the ~Hachibi~ could have is like maybe let's assume 25% of the half 50% of the ~Juubi~
If he would had 25% of the ~Juubi~ power then the he would match ~Kyuubi's~ power since the ~Kyuubi's~ power is halfed.

Re: 9 tails for 8 tails
so if I understand this correctly.
ichibi 0.1953125
Nibi 0.390625
Sanbi 0.78125
Yonbi 1.5625
Gobi 3.125
Rokubi 6.25
Shichibi 12.5
Hachibi 25
Kyuubi 50
Juubi 100
I'm thinking that the math might be off slightly on this assumption.
or are you thinking more Fubonacci??
ichibi 0+1=1
Nibi 1+1=2
Sanbi 1+2=3
Yonbi 2+3=5
Gobi 3+5=8
Rokubi 5+8=13
Shichibi 8+13=21
Hachibi 13+21=34
Kyuubi 21+34=55
Juubi 34+55=89
Perhaps we need to go to the japanese mythology on the bijuu? Unfortunately I am ignorant on that subject, so please somebody help me out?
