Paprika is a 2006 Japanese animated science fiction film, based on Yasutaka Tsutsui's 1993 novel of the same name, about a research psychologist who uses a device that permits therapists to help patients by entering their dreams.
The film was directed by the late Satoshi Kon, animated by Madhouse Studios, and produced and distributed by Sony Pictures Entertainment. The film's music was composed by Susumu Hirasawa, who also composed the soundtrack for Kon's award-winning film, Millennium Actress, and equally lauded television series, Paranoia Agent.
My own quote to this anime: its my favoret anime of all times

Spirited Away (2001)
Spirited Away is a 2001 Japanese animated film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki and produced by Studio Ghibli. The film follows a sullen ten-year-old girl who is in the process of moving to a new town (presumably in the countryside) with her family, and chronicles her adventures in a world of spirits and monsters.
The film received many awards, including the second Oscar ever awarded for Best Animated Feature, the first anime film to win an Academy Award, and the first (and so far only) non-English speaking animation to win. The film also won the Golden Bear at the 2002 Berlin International Film Festival (tied with Bloody Sunday) and is among the top ten in the BFI list of the 50 films you should see by the age of 14.
Spirited Away overtook Titanic (at the time the top grossing film worldwide) in the Japanese box office to become the highest-grossing film in Japanese history

Princess Mononoke (1997)
Princess Mononoke is a 1997 Japanese animated historical fantasy feature film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki of Studio Ghibli. The film was first released in Japan on July 12, 1997, and in the United States on October 29, 1999, in select cities and on November 26, 1999, in Canada.
Princess Mononoke is a period drama set specifically in the late Muromachi period of Japan but with numerous fantastic elements, and concentrates on the struggle between the supernatural guardians of a forest and the humans who consume its resources as seen by the outsider Ashitaka. "Mononoke" (物の怪?) is not a name, but a general term in the Japanese language for a spirit or monster.
Roger Ebert placed the movie sixth on his top ten movies of 1999.[1] Mononoke also became the highest grossing movie in Japan until Titanic took over the spot several months later.[2] Overall, Mononoke is the third highest grossing anime movie in Japan,[citation needed] next to 2001's Spirited Away and 2004's Howl's Moving Castle, both also by Miyazaki

Akira
AKIRA is a 1988 anime action film written and directed by Katsuhiro Otomo based on his hit manga. The film is set in a futuristic and post-war city, Neo-Tokyo, in 2019. While most of the character designs and basic settings were adapted from the original 2182-page manga epic, the restructured plot of the movie differs considerably from the print version, pruning much of the last half of the manga. The film became a hugely popular cult film and is widely considered to be a landmark in Japanese animation and film.

Re: Some great Anime movies
I've watched almost every Ghibli film out and I can vouch for their consistency and plot. The ones I really like though are (not in order):
The Borrowers Arrietty
Howl's Moving Castle
Spirited Away
Tales of Earthsea
Porco Rosso
Nausicaa: Valley of the Wind
Ponyo
The Cat Returns
Whisper of the Heart
And a few others I forgot.
A few other anime movies I liked:
The Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi
One Piece Strong World
5 CM per Second
Summer Wars
The Girl that Leapt through Time
Macross Frontier the Movie
Pokemon the Movie
That's all I remember for now.

Re: Some great Anime movies
a new movie, shown in cinemas in Japan around may this year, called children who chase lost voices from deep below(link to wiki as well) was recently released as a fan subbed version, quite good and in similar style of spirited away to some extent.
I recommend you watch it!
