Manga Coloring Contest [11] Revived

Welcome everyone to the New Manga coloring comp.

I am now administrating the Manga Coloring Competition for the time being :D Now that it has been resurrected there are some changes.
- It's a monthly contest. Meaning that submission time is till the 24th of Aug + 1 week voting
- As usual, it is a free choice. You can color any image you want. As long as u send me the original image as well.

Rules:
-Everyone please follow the Global Forum Rules
-Entries must be your own work
-To keep all submissions anonymous, do not show your coloring to anyone on any site including DA
-Do not put your username on your submission
-Send your entries to me before the 24th of each month
-Make sure you give me the original image as well
-Make sure nobody knows which submission is yours! As it often is leaked in the voting thread

Winners will recieve a Medal

as usual. Follow the rules, submit and have fun^^:overjoy:

To make it more interesting and to bump the thread. Notify your submission by writing: ~I am taking part~ in the comments below. We're hoping to get some good submissions this month. Thanks

glad u like it.. yes, we're hoping to get many good submissions this time

let's hope ppl are having bad weather where they live, so that they will sit on their computers coloring mangas instead of being outside

it's a digitally colored contest. Which means hand colored mangas won't be accepted.

Lineart and base, paints completed.

(is it okay if I post it on dA? I don't think anybody knows who I am on dA, also I'm no favorite from NB, so there would be no problms, even if something got leaked out).

1 question plz., Shoul the BG be taken into account??? or just the characters / specified parts?

The manga coloring competition is a digital coloring competition. Which means that you submit by choosing a part of a manga page, or a black and white picture of a manga character from any anime/manga (naruto, bleach, fairy tale, hellsing, etc..)

And color it by either using photoshop, gimp, illustator, painshop pro, or any other painting program.

(I recommend you don not use paint as u won't have any chance of getting a good result, and it is not a program meant to color images)

I would recommend you watch some youtube videoes on how to color mangas they can be to great help.

other than that, u have untill the 24th of Aug to submit your coloring.

good good. No pls do not post ur work on DA untill the voting is over. This is to ensure that everyone gets an equal chance of winning. u never know who's browsing DA

About the background. If u make a nice background, it'll enhance the image alot. No u do not have to create the background urself. It can be any picture u prefer. But ppl will ofcorse vote on ur coloring result

Remember to send me the original as well when ur done :D

Welcome Akatsuki11000

All u need to do is find an uncolored manga pictured, and color it by using programs on ur computer and send it to me when u're done, remember to send me the original image as well. (deadline is the 24th of Aug)
